She has a dark heart,
and it loves so fiercely.
But nobody knew,
it could break so easily.
She would find someone,
They'd both say it's "love",
Even their hand,
Could fit like a glove.
They would say she's perfect,
She thought they meant it too.
But soon she had found,
It no longer was true.
She figured out their lies,
The broke down in tears.
For she was afraid,
As they found her fears.
She had met someone new,
They lived miles away.
She kept them in her broken heart,
Wishing that they'd stay.
She was kind, she was gentle,
Anything nice she would do.
Because all along she knew,
That their heart was broken too.
