Three weeks,
It only took three weeks for you to come into my life,
Wrap me around your finger,
And then cut me loose,
Leaving me in half with two parts that are still curly from being so tightly wound around you.You stole every part of my mind,
My thoughts,
My memories,
My emotions,
My pride,
My self-esteem,
And my tears.Everything reminds me of you,
Not because I find a way to connect everything to you,
But because in that short amount of time,
We managed to discuss our favorite music, so now when I listen to my only source of happiness, I end up circling back around to you.
We managed to discuss our favorite books, so now when I try to desperately escape this reality, I end up circling back around to you.
We managed to discuss our favorite movies, so now when I want to put my mind at ease, I end up circling back around to you.You don't realize now, and you might not ever realize, the true effect you had on my life, and the true affect you had on my soul
Through the entirety of the three weeks,
You had me captivated from the start,
And you left me still captivated in the end
