I grew so used to you,
You became my every day.
I find myself sitting in bed, waiting for your name to appear on my phone screen that is so tightly clenched in my hand.
I find myself searching the roads for your old pickup with that storm trooper sticker on the back windshield.
I find myself forcing my thoughts to other things, things that don't consist of your dark, consuming eyes, or your soft words that always tugged at my heart.
I find myself trying to peel the memory of you from my every day.
