I made my way through security and to my terminal.  My dad had asked if I wanted to fly 1st class but I said no, it really didn’t matter to me.  I had a good amount of time until my flight was boarding so I went and grabbed my self a coffee and a few snacks for the trip.

My flight was called and I made my way back to the terminal to get in line to board. I found my seat and quickly slid in to the window seat. I stowed away all of my baggage and lied my head on the window. Every one found there seats and the plane began its departure. I looked out the window for a while before coming back to reality. I looked to my left and saw a very pretty young girl sitting next to me. She looked very nervous and uncomfortable.

“HI. I’m Hanna.” I said trying to make small talk. The girl slowly turned to me and smiled but you could tell she was still nervous.

“Hi Hanna I’m Bridget.” With that she looked back down at her hands.

Half way through the flight I pulled out a sandwich I had bought on the way here.

“Would you like some?” I offered to Bridget. The only thing I had seen her consume was a couple glasses of water.

“No thank you im fine.” She said but her look said differently.  I decided to nut push the subject.

“So what brings you to New York?” I said.

“Um its kind of embarrassing. Every one laughs when I tell them.”

“I bet it’s not that embarrassing.” I encouraged.

“Ok well I really want to begin a modeling career.”  I chuckled. “I told you it’s embarrassing.” She said.

“I’m not laughing at you I promise. Its just that I can actually help you with that.” She looked up at me.

“I’m Hanna Baker I model.” I said and her eyes light up. “I new I recognized you.” She said looking very excited.

We became friends during the rest of the flight. We even instagramed a picture of her and I on both of our accounts.

As we were waiting for our luggage I asked her, “so where are you staying?”

“I am paying for this whole trip myself so I was just going to stay at a smaller motel kind of on the outskirts of town.” She answered.

“Nope..”

“What do you mean nope?”

“You’re coming to stay with me! I will have a whole hotel room to myself and you being there will make it way less lonely.”  She looked at me for a short while.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes of course! Now you can also come to meet my managers with me and it will be easier to go to all of the photo shoots they are going to get you!”

It was late in New York already so as soon as we got to our hotel room I was going to go to sleep. Bridget went to the restroom and while she was in there I called the hotel and changed my room for a normal room to a sweet with two rooms, a living room, and a kitchen. But I didn’t tell her I changed it because I didn’t want her to feel like she was being a burden.

We made it to our room and fell asleep quickly.

My alarm began going off and I rolled out of bed. Today I am taking Bridget to the office.  I went to her room and jumped on her bed.

“Wake up sleepy head its time to make your self beautiful!” I yelled as I jumped up and down. She began laughing and began bouncing with me.  We both hopped in the shower. I got dressed then grabbed my makeup and went into Bridget’s room.  She was staring at her suitcase with no expression. “I have no idea what to wear!” she said looking distressed. I pulled out a pair of maroon jeans, a black top, and then grabbed a pair of my black heels and threw them to her. She got dressed the ni did her makeup and we were ready to go!

6 months later

My manager had loved Bridget and got her started as soon as she could!

My dad had come up from California and we bought a nice 4-room apartment in Manhattan.

Bridget tried to say no but we convinced her to come live with us. My dad thought it would be good to have another girl around the house to keep me company and from the day he meet Bridget he has treated her as his own.

“Hanna we have to go! We are going to be late!” Bridget yelled from the elevator.

Today is Wednesday October 30th the day before my birthday and Bridget has made planes to celebrate tonight because we have to work tomorrow, but she wouldn’t tell me were we were going.

We went down stairs and were greeted by a white limo.   As I we neared our place of destination I could hear a chorus of screaming girls.  We pulled up into the parking lot where the limo let us out. “I didn’t want you to be bombarded with girls so I told him we would walk.”  As we neared the front of the building there was a huge assortment of girls. I looked up at a poster and it read ONE DIRECTON. “No way Bridget your awesome! I haven’t seen the boys in forever!” She stopped walking and looked at me. “What do you mean by that?” oops. “I may now one direction” I said just loud enough for her to hear. “So If I had told you what I was planning you could have saved me the outrageous amount of money I spent on these front row tickets?” I nodded and she began to laugh “Wow I’m an idiot I should have just googled it and checked if you new them then stolen thee number from your phone or something.”

We made our way through the crowd, past security and to our seats fairly quickly.  The lights began to dim right as we sat down. Simon Cowell Ran out on stage and the crud erupted in screams.

“ Quiet down ladies! We have a surprise for you… Tonight’s opening act is….” Before he could finish his sentence my face fell as I saw that familiar blond haired boy walkout on stage carrying his guitar.

Bridget looked at me with so much apology it was almost funny. ‘its ok’ I mouthed to her.
