Aly's POV:

"I hate you!"

"Hey! If you shared with me then I wouldn't have eaten your chips!" Luke, my boyfriend just laughed at me and patted the spot next to him on the couch. I jumped down to the spot and he put my head to his lips, kissing my forehead, "I love you, Aly."

I smiled, "Love you, too, penguin."

I brought my head down too his shoulders while his arms were wrapped around me. We stayed in this position for what seemed like ages, but I wanted to age with him anyway. I know, cheesy.

None of the boys actually knew we were going out with each other, so we were practically each others secret. I mean, the boys (except Ashton) knew that I liked Luke, and apparently he liked me back. Maybe they already know, but I highly doubt it. It wouldn't be bad if they knew already, but Luke and I wanted to tell them ourselves. But that's the problem, we don't know when or how to.

(Fast forward witht the tardis....jk..not really..)

I fell asleep on Luke's shoulder, and my stomach just filled up with butterflies. It does that everytime we do couple-y stuff, or anything really. Just as I was about to wake up and get up from the couch, I heard the voices of the other boys. Oh no, I thought to myself, they can't see me with Luke like this. I know I made it sound like it was such a bad thing, but I was really looking forward to telling them ourselves. So I shook Luke up,

"Luke, wake up. They're here."

"Eh, wake me up later!"

I laughed silently at this dork that I call my boyfriend. I get up from the couch in his room and pull him down to the floor. "OW! Aly, chill." I blushed a bright pink and replied with, "But they're here, and we could finally tell them. Please, penguin?"

I knew he couldn't resist my puppy eyes and he knew that I knew. So when I did it, he just scratched the back of his neck and said: "Ugh, fine. You're evil, you know that?" I just flipped him off and happily skipped to Michael, Calum, and Ashton.

"Hi guys! Do you need help putting those away, Mike?" Michael and I are like BFFs. He's the reason I met Luke. So, yeah we shorten each others names.

"Hey Al, and no we're good."

I waited 'till Luke finished walking and said: "Guys, we have to tell you something." All three of them slowly turned around, taking their time, thinking that it would be something stupid. I looked at Luke and he nodded. "We- umm we're dating."  Michaels eyes widened and jumped up and down. He came and hugged me while Calum said congrats to us.

"Cal, give me the 50 bucks."

I raised an eyebrow at Michael, "You guys bet on us?" I giggled and he nodded with a big smile. Wow, my best friend's a dork. Like my boyfriend. Which is funny because I've told Luke that I shipped Muke when I was just a fan.

"That's- umm- wow, I just..... Good job!" Ashton said, obviously looking different than he normally was. He wasn't happy. But I wasn't if he was shocked, sad, mad, or whatever. I just knew he wasn't happy. I smiled at him and gave him the nod that said 'thanks'. "Heh haha um yeah, no problem. I hope that- I hope you guys are happy."

It was really awkward but I said thanks anyway. 

Ashton walked out, his cheeks red and everyone saw it. Everyone in the room saw his face. Everyone saw the awkwardness. Everyone saw the red in his eyes and cheeks. Everyone saw him walk out on us. Everyone saw it.

We all gave each other mini glances trying to figure out what happened. I didn't understand completely what was going on, but I knew that I needed to talk to him. So I ran out trying to find him. "ASHTON! ASH- There he is." I ran up to him and asked, "What happened over there? Is there something wrong?"

He refused to look at me and faced the other way when I was looking at him. "Ashton, answer me please." He looked at the ground at kept walking. I was getting annoyed, actually, but I knew that it would make all of this worse. "Ash-"

"ALY, I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU! OKAY? ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?" He cut me off and I just didn't know what to say. I stopped walking to register what happened but he kept walking. What just happened? Oh my god, we need to talk. I jogged up to him and turned him around. "What do you want, now?" He asked me obviously sounding annoyed and hurt.

"You do realize that I'm with Luke, right."

"Yeah, yeah I do and that's just the worse part."

"Please tell me this won't ruin this friendship."

He just looked down again and sighed, "It's not that easy to just let go, Aly."

"I know it isn't but I'm with Luke and I don't want this friendship between us to be awkward."

He nodded, "I understand, I just- nevermind. I'm good." I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him, knowing that he needed some comfort. I let go and walked back. But as I started to walk away, I noticed that Ashton was going the other way. "Ashton, where are you going? You're not going back?"

"I just need some time but I'll be there tomorrow. Don't worry about me!" I knew that he was still hurt, so I of course I was gonna worry. But I didn't wanna tell him that. I smiled at him and continued walking.
