~Nick's POV~
I felt worried. Worried about my sister. I knew President Hudson gave extra protection over the community, but I think it's still not enough. So this is how it happened after the plane took the Elders.
The plane was never in sight these days,but I was still scared. I needed to protect my family. In weekdays, friends were allowed to go to each other's house. It's wierd, right? Here's the funny thing. When I opened my house door, I saw Alyssa and Dexter kissing each other outside.
"What on Earth are you doing?!" I asked them, soooo surprised.
"Oh, that's nothin'." Alyssa replied, blushing. Dexter, on the other hand, was blushing really, really hard.
"Oooh... I know now....." I teased them. They kinda shouted at me and I laughed. Teresa came out of the kitchen and greeted us.
The four of us went outside and jogged in the park, while Tes and me kept teasing Alyssa and Dexter, saying that they actually litterally kissed each other. Days went past and all was well. Every time I looked up to the sky, I saw nothing suspicious or any connection with the note.
So, Tes had this best friend called Anita, and they hang out with each other every day. I thought Anita was quite nice. Before I knew it, I think I was having a big, big, crush on her.
One day, we were all playing truth or dare, and when it was my turn, I chose 'truth'. Dexter asked me who I was crushing on. I made a big mistake on choosing truth. So, I changed my mind to dare. Dexter was so desperate to know who was my crush, especially when I changed my mind.
He said," I dare you to tell the truth who is your crush." Tes and Alyssa laughed, and I felt myself blushing.
I had to admit. So, I said," I have a crush on Anita." All of them started saying things like" Eaaaa...."
" I'll arrange you a date," Tes teased.
" Hey!" I retorted.
