-Tes's POV

Sorry. I was imagining things. I didn't have powers. Dexter broke the silence.
"Those stupid men. Think they rule the world." he grumbled. I sighed.
"I'm going to see Riley." I announced. "Anyone coming?"
"I'm coming with you, and so are the others." Nick told me.
            "Okay."
We touched the painting and winced at the slight beep it sounded. We walked down the long corridor and, to our surprise...
The sight was horrible. Many of them were bound and, gagged or chained up with thick shackles. Riley was there too;she was struggling with her captors, who wore black masks over their heads.
Before I knew something, someone clamped their hand over my mouth. They dragged me, and I struggled to no avail. On the other hand, Nick and the others were pulled in the oposite direction. The last thing I remember the room turned black and I fainted.
••••
The hallway was dark and I was alone. My voice echoed in the hallways and my footsteps splashed the puddles on the hallway floor.
I looked around, hoping to find someone -- at least something, but found nothing.
Then, there was light. It floated towards me, beckoning to follow. It led me through the dark hallway and into the sunlight. I shielded my eyes, and heard a crowd chanting.
As I stepped out, the chanting turned into cheering. Someone strapped on armour for me and gave me a bow and arrows. Archery. My talented skill.
Just then, someone shouted, "Unleash the challenge!" I looked around, straining to see what the 'challenge' was. A trumpet sounded behind me. I spun around, to see a glass room rising around me. The crowd still continued cheering.
"Level 1."    I spun around, to see a shadow with a spear rushing to me. Not knowing what to do, I shot, and the shadow dissolved into the air. The higher the levels were, the more shadows there were. But I couldn't take it anymore. I took a deep breath, waiting for the end. But then, the cheering faded away into darkness and the shadows closed in to me.
••••
I woke up, panting. I couldn't look to the outside. A blindfold was tied around my eyes. I could feel my hands and feet strapped to a chair. I struggled, but could not move. I heard a door open and it slammed shut. The person who entered took off my blindfold and placed it on a nearby table. It was a woman.
"Hello, Ms Arginson. My name is O'Rian and I'm here to ask you a few questions." Wait. How did she know my surname? Nick and I never told it to anyone.
"Who are you, what do you want and how did you know my surname?" I asked O'Rian.
"Well, the last two questions you asked-I cannot answer. You'll have to ask Director Regina about that. As I said earlier, my name, again is O'Rian. Assistant Director of  the company." I think my heart stopped beating. Asten. He was the cause of all this. He was the reason I was here. And... that Director Regina? The madwoman that was Asten's boss?
What was I going to do? Run? Fight? Stay? Reason? Accept the consequence? Well, actually I cannot really do any of those.
"Ms Arginson, I asked you a question."
"Oh. Sorry. Can you please repeat the question again?"
"Do you know any reason- anything- how the secret room connected to the cells was built?"
I laughed. I just simply laughed. "How is it that I know when it was just told to me like the next day after I arrived at the palace? By the way, how long have I been asleep?"
"Umm... Maybe around two weeks. Last question: What is your relashionship with Riley?" I was taken aback. Two weeks? Oh my god. That was a long time.
              "Best friend. That's all."
"Ok. Now, I shall take you to Director Regina."
