"I can't believe you did this!" My father scolded me for the one hundredth time.
He shouldn't be acting this way, it was a child! What did he expect me to do, watch her die!
"Are you even listening to me, Marigold!?"

"This is the last straw! I have had it with you, you, disobedient daughter! One more thing like this and say goodbye to your hunting p-!"
"DAD STOP! You need to stop doing this to me! I am nineteen now! Not a child!" I am at my boiling point. I swear if he says one more thing I will flip. Lucky for him, he didn't. All he did was point at the woods glaring at me.
Guess it's time for mother and father to decide my punishment
I stormed off still fuming with anger from head to toe.
When I get to my favorite place, the waterfall, I sit down wondering what else could go wrong. NOTHING! Well I guess that's not true, many horrible things could happen. Suddenly I hear chatter from the waterfront.
"So sad, he was one of are best, always fighting and never giving up."
"No! I heard he has never killed one of those stick-ears" the two men seemed to be talking about another prisoner we have taken. Well luckily they seemed to be talking about a warrior not another child.
"Well I heard he doesn't want to!"
"What kind of warrior is that! He's not a warrior, he's scared of the stick-ears"
If he calls me a "stick-ear" one more time I swear he'll regret it! I barely hear the rest of it, because I was to focused on the ARMY heading towards the village!
I need to warn them!
But another part of my brain tells me to let them fight.

I don't know why I did what I did next, but I guess it worked. I stood up from my hiding place on top of the waterfall and yelled,
"Yooho, I'm up here!" Everyone below me looked up in surprise, I guess they aren't that smart so that all came after me.
Ha those idiots, what's better for them killing one Elve or half the village!?
I started to yell out,
" Father, Father, an army is coming prepare yourself!" I yelled that several times until I got back to the village. When I got there all of the men were aiming at the men behind me.
I guess they got my message
If I got a nickel for every time someone thanked me just then I would be able to buy peace with the Serpent and Dragon clans! I almost got back on my fathers good side. But my luck was about to run out.
"You brought them just in time! We were about to execute another one!"
