Semidio High
School had started again, and it was safe to say that everyone was a bit apprehensive. Would there be new students? New bullies? But they were sure of one thing-they were too close to be separated. They were friends.
The onyx-eyed boy had a secret. In the middle of the school year, he'd be going on a "mission" of sorts with his step-cousin Reyna, who he hadn't really got to meet. They would be traveling around the world, trying to find something. Something special. Questionably something dangerous, too. He didn't actually know what it was yet, but soon he'd know. Soon.
Leo Valdez was a mischievous boy, most people would say. But to his friends he was the jokester, often saying, "All da ladies love Leo!" whilst grinning. They all knew it wasn't true, of course, but Leo had a secret. In the summer, he'd met a girl from Ogygia High School, across the state. Before he returned home, she'd kissed him-"That never happened,"-and walked away without a single glance back. And so Leo made a promise. He'd go back someday and find Calypso. He would never rest until he finally found her.
A/N: I wanted to make an ultra-chapter, but writer's block arrived at my front door and this chapter was made... Such bad. >:(
