Epilogue

Years after they graduated from high school, Percy and Annabeth died in a violent car accident. Jason and Piper flew in from California, where they were attending university, to come to their funeral.
July 19 was a sad day. Overcast, and slightly drizzling, like the sky was crying for the deceased couple.
They were buried together, laid to rest "forever among the stars".
Everyone mourned the loss of the (possibly) greatest mind of the decade and the young Olympic swimmer. They died at age 24, too young.
A month later, Annabeth's architecture firm was bought by a business man who promptly changed its name to "Harold Architecture Inc."
Their apartment was rented out to a couple with two kids. A few months later, it seemed as if Percy and Annabeth had never bees there. The only remnants of their lives were Percy's (still unbeatable) Olympic swimming records and the photos that their friends had.

Aged 92, surrounded by his children and grandchildren, Leo Valdez was the last to die. He had seen the deaths of his friends (Jason by plane accident, Piper a few years before him, Frank and Hazel a few years before Piper, Thalia run over by a drunk driver just like Luke, Nico three months earlier, and Calypso, his wife, a year and two months ago). His last words were to his daughter - "Keep our legend alive. Make it happen, eh, niña?"
