Thanksgiving Break had just ended, and now Annabeth was busier than ever. She had to handle heaps of homework, extracurricular activities, family drama, and so many other things that it was almost comical. Her family was moving to California soon, but they planned for Annabeth to stay for the school year, then settle into the dorm rooms at her college. In the meantime, she would stay with a family friend named Chiron, who ran a camp. At least I'll be with Percy, she thought.
Percy was stressing out. Exams would be taking place soon and he had a B+ or lower in all his subjects. He didn't know how in the world he'd go to college. His grades simply didn't do high. He finally decided on marine biology, as his dad was also a marine biologist, and his highest grade was in science. He'd always loved the sea, and so studying marine biology was a plus. Plus, it meant that he might get into the same college as Annabeth. He'd do anything for Annabeth, even if it involved endless studying and tutoring.
Jason had finally paid off his debt to the bank. He didn't use the money Piper gave him last school year - instead, he used that cash to plan a date for the two of them. It was really the only thing for him to do, as he didn't want to give it to the bank, because it was Piper's money. So he put it to good use, and saved the remainder for later.
Piper was shocked. Jason hadn't used the money she'd given him to pay off the debt? There was really no other uses for it she could think of, so she began to wonder. When Jason invited her to a fancy restaurant, she began to suspect. Her suspicions were proved when he pulled out the envelope to pay for the meal.
Needless to say, Piper was touched. It was sweet of him, but also pure Jason. He followed rules, even if they chafed him. It was his way.

Okay, idek what this is. I know you guys haven't told me your opinions yet, but I'm making either 20 or 25 chapters for this book. Is that okay? I'm gonna cover Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, and prom... so yeah. :)
