Andy was pacing the length of her room as she heard Thor walk down the hallway calling her by Spectra, Ghost lady as he now liked to call her.
"Ghost lady! Mr. Stark requests your presence in the lab!" He calls and she groans before opening her door to see Hawkeye looking out of his door too.
"So you're actually going to trust Tony?" Clint asks and she looked at him.
"I'm going to trust Dr. Banner who will be there." She said and pulled her hood up before walking down the hallway.
"Andy, will you stay here for a second?" He asked but she shook her head.
"I would prefer to get this meeting with Stark over with. See ya later." Andy said.
"You don't know where you're going." He called making her stop realizing he was right.
"Fine...talk to me on the way." She said and she heard a door close and light footsteps over to her.
She felt a hand on the small of her back and she snapped around and grabbed the hand before twisting the arm behind his back.
"Damn Andy! I was guiding you down the hallway!" Clint yelled in pain and rubbed his shoulder when she let go of his hand.
"Sorry..." She said softly and looked down at his feet, studying them.
Andy looked at the floor and took a deep breath, shaking the memory from her head.
"Okay, lets go." He said and walked in front of her to lead the way.
They both walked in silence thinking about completely different things, but their thoughts revolved around the other person in the hallway.
"Why do you trust me so much?" Andy asked as Clint asked, "Why do you space out so much?"
"Sorry, what was your question?" Clint asked and she looked at him.
"Why do you trust me so much?" She asked again and he looked at her.
"Do you know my best friend in here? That would be Natasha, she went through almost the same thing and I know it's not the same thing because you're a bit more different. I know what they did to people in the red room of whatever they call it. I know what she went through, I can only imagine what you went through and I want to be able to help you like I helped Nat." Clint said and she looked in front of her and processed the words that he had just said.
"So what's your question?" She asked softly and he looked ahead at the hallway.
"Why do you space out so much?" He asked and she shrugged. "That isn't a real answer. I think I deserve some real answers." He added on and she sighed.
"Flashbacks. They kind of came with the price of escaping. I get them more than I like to admit" She said and looked straight ahead down the hallway.
The flashbacks were usually violent, filled with blood or things that she had done. She was kind of the first Winter Solider but nobody knew she existed. They took care of that. Nobody knew who she was unless they escaped with her (which few did) or they were the people who wiped her memory and filled it with death and destruction. As cliche as it might seem, that's what is brought back to her, the death and the destruction that she had caused.
"You're doing it again Andy." Clint said and she snapped out of her of her phase.
"What are the flashbacks about? Russia?" He asked and she nodded a little as he turned into the lab.
Tony looked up from his work and narrowed his eyes as his eyes landed on Spectra.
"We know what you look like, now why won't you keep your hood off." Tony asked in a bitter tone.
"Cameras, fingerprint crap, retinal, stuff, a long list of things." She said and tilted her head a little to the right when she saw what he was working on.
"Are those compression gloves?" Andy asked and Tony looked genuinely impressed.
"Yes they are, Fury is making us engineer some." Bruce said as he turned around from his work.
"For who?" Clint asked and Tony smirked.
"Her." Tony said and Andy's eyes widened.
"You're kidding me! I haven't hurt anyone of you except for Clint's pride! I haven't hurt anyone and you're putting compression gloves on me! My powers haven't hurt any one of you!" She yelled and she felt her eyes grow greener.
"What about Bucky?" Tony said as he picked one of the gloves up. (I imagine them looking a little like Skye's in Agents of Shield)
"I didn't know who he was! To me he was a trained opponent that I needed to beat to survive! Plus he's the one who stabbed me!" She said and her hand went up to her side where a scar was forming.
"Could I see the wound. It might've gotten infected." Bruce said and she hesitantly pulled off her jacket, letting her hair fall down her back and lifted the side of her shirt up a little.
There were multiple scars on her stomach, ranging from big scars to almost non-existent ones. They were from the experimentation, battles, or other injuries. The scars won't ever go away.
"Your hair is silver. Why is it silver?" Tony asked and she rolled her eyes.
"If you don't keep your mouth shut I won't be able to explain it because you'll be speak-" She started but Tony cut her off.
"Can I see your arms?" Tony asked but it felt like a command to Andy.
In a second Tony was pressed against a wall with Spectra's arm against his throat.
"If you ever question my reason for being here you tell me and I'll answer it. Do not accuse me of things I did not do. You do not know me and you never will but you do not have the right to accuse me of letting spies in here." She growled at Tony as he tried to get out of his grip.
"Andy let him go." Clint said as he raised an arrow to her head. It was his job, but he really didn't want to do it. She looked over to him and her eyes went wide.
"Fury wants me to do this. I'm really sorry about it. No hard feelings." Clint said and moved the arrow down to her leg and let go of it.
Andy screamed in pain and fell to the ground clutching her right leg that had the arrow in it.
"You're okay, you'll black out soon and you'll survive. Please don't kill me when you wake up." Clint explained as stars clouded her vision.
"Clint..." Andy said as darkness took over her sight and she passed out.
