CHAPTER TWENTY

"Where are you taking me, Camicazi?" Sapphire asked again.

"Oh, what an impatient girl! We are almost there." Sapphire had a piece of cloth on her eyes as blinkers. Astrid was holding her hands and guiding her to a surprise.

"You said that five minutes ago!" Sapphire complained. Astrid chuckled.

"And you said that for the tenth times." They were walking to somewhere Sapphire didn't know but she didn't mind. She was enjoying this mystery.

"Stop!" Astrid whispered. She obeyed and stopped walking. Then she felt Camicazi left her hands.

"Eh....Cami? Where are you? Where did you go?" She was confused. She moved her hands hoping she could catch Camicazi, but no. Just air and empty. Sapphire removed the blinker and looked around.

Black! First she thought she is blind but when she looked around she noticed she could see lights slightly.

"Ua...Hello?" She was a bit scared.

"Cami? Where am I? Whe-" She being cut when flames around that mystery place lighted up and she saw the whole village clapping and cheering. Then she noticed she is in Great Hall. But why? Why all The Great Hall is decorated?

"What?" Sapphire was shocked. Suddenly everyone shouted:

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAPPHIRE!" now that all makes sense! It was her birthday, how could she forget?!

"M...My birthday! Oh my gods I forgot!"She was really happy and even couldn't believe it. She forgot her birthday, but they didn't. That is really kind of them. Sapphire looked around and saw her granny, her father, Camicazi are coming toward her. She ran to them and hugged Valka.

"Oh, granny! Thank you so much." Valka smiled.

"Well, my little girl is turning to 11! We should congratulate her somehow." They pulled apart. Sapphire smiled at Camicazi and jumped in to her arms.

"I knew. It was your idea. You are the best! Thank you."Astrid smiled and put her down.

"You're welcome Sapphire. But it wasn't my idea, it all because of your father." Astrid pointed to Hiccup. Sapphire looked shocked at the man standing there smiling. She walked to him.

"Yo...You did this?" She pointed at the decorations and people. Hiccup nodded slightly and got on one kneel to see her straight.

"Happy birthday Sapphire!" Sapphire was going to cry.

After ten years without even feeling love, now she is looking at her father who prepared her birthday! He was her chief, her boss, her jailer. But now he is no longer that man. It took a while for her to notice.

Yes! That's right. He was afraid of losing her when she was falling. He was a bit jealous that she liked Camicazi more than him. He smiled and hugged her warmly when she almost died by Toothless. He is now....her father!

A tear escaped from her eye. Hiccup wiped it away with his thump.

"Don't cry in this day! You should smile and dance."He placed his hands on her shoulders."My little girl is grown up too early. I want my whiny baby back!" They laughed and Hiccup was happy to make his daughter laugh.

"Oh, I almost forgot!" He reached from his behind and took a little box out."This is for you Sapphire." Sapphire looked at the box and took it.

"What is in it?"

"It's your birthday gift! Open it." Sapphire widens her eyes and opened the box.

It was silver necklaces of two dragons. A Night Fury and a blue Deadly-Nadder. The dragons circled around each other. It was very beautiful.
