Astrid opened her eyes slowly. She could see the wooden ceiling above of her, and also she was in a bed with comfortable pillow and blanket, so she was in a hut or a house.

She got up carefully, looking around her to find a clue where she is. She put her hand on her head where she hurt, but she couldn't remember why.

She looked around and found out she is in Gothi's hut. How did she know? Well she gave birth there and she had the same situation.

Then she felt a sharp pain from her back. She found out she didn't have a shirt but bandages over her chest and stomach. Why did she have a bandage over her chest and back? Also why she couldn't remember what exactly happened in war? She was trying to find answers her questions when a voice startled her:

"How long have you been planning to hide it from me?"

She knew the voice; that dorky sweet voice that she loved so much. She turned her head toward the voice and saw the speaker. She gasped when she saw him.

He was there, folding his arms over his chest, looking through the window.

Astrid gasped again. She put her hand on her face and realized......

It wasn't there! Her mask was gone! How did it happen? And after some seconds of searching she figured out the hood is gone as well.

Then she remembered. Remembered the war, Dagur, Drago, the arrow and when she hugged Hiccup from behind to save his life. She also remembered when she fell and Hiccup got her but they crashed to the blue ocean. So, it means only one thing: He discovered her secret!

Astrid again, tried to find her mask, but failed. It was nowhere to be seen.

Hiccup turned around, her mask was in his hand. He raised the mask.

"You're looking for this?"

She was speechless; just staring at him with scared face. He threw the mask in to the fire in front of the bed and gazed at his wife!

Astrid couldn't look at him, just staring at her mask burning. She was scared of this, scared of seeing him mad at her, sacred of dealing with his anger.

But she couldn't find out what his expression is. He had not feelings in his face. He was like someone who saw his long lost love.

Wait! He is in the same position.

He walked over the bed; Astrid scared a bit and backed away.

Hiccup hurt seeing her scared of him, but he continued. He sat on the edge of the bed and looked at Astrid, but she didn't look at him back. He smiled weakly

"Don't tell me you are afraid of me." She didn't answer; just still silent. Hiccup held her hands. She shocked and looked up at him confused.

"Hi...Astrid!" After ten freaking years he called her Astrid, as Astrid.

"Hi...Hic...Hiccup." she whispered. She looked down in shame. Astrid couldn't even look straight at him.

He put his hand under her chin and made her look at his eyes.

"Don't do that. You don't let me to see your ocean blue eyes." He said with a playful tone and a warm smile, like always.

Astrid couldn't hold it anymore and a tear fell from her eye. He was still looking warmly at her. He put his hand on her cheek and wiped the tear away.

"Don't throw your beautiful pearls away. They belong to your eyes. Keep them safe." He said as a tear fell from his eyes too. Astrid felt guilty. She made him cry, again! She couldn't forgive herself because of this.
