Fanggo charged through the forest with leaves and branches whipping past his face. His heart pounded in his chest and his breath was coming in gasps. He couldn't believe he was doing this. He didn't want to be doing this at all since he knew what was going to happen. It had happened earlier and the scariest part was that he didn't remember anything. He couldn't have the whole pack see this happen.
He made it to the Shaded Forest Pack's borders before he noticed that the battle had already started. Wolves were plowing and attacking each other on the border and there was so much blood. It had never bothered Fanggo before but now that he saw it for it's entirety he saw why his brother didn't like the fighting, or for Fanggo to even talk about it.
Fanggo was about to turn back when a wolf surged forward and blocked his path. The wolf was dark brown with an almost russet underbelly and brown eyes. He bared his teeth in a snarl and snapped his jaws dangerously close to Fanggo's ear.
Fanggo gasped a bit in shock and he tried desperately not to make himself angry that he couldn't fight. He felt his heart almost bursting out of his chest and he hoped that that didn't have anything to do with it. He recognized the wolf almost immediately. There was only one wolf in all the packs that had a russet underbelly like that.
"Hulm, listen, I don't want to fight," Fanggo tried to reason but even he thought it sounded suspicious.
Hulm tilted his head a bit in confusion and a laugh burst from his jaws. "The great Fanggo doesn't want to fight? I don't believe it for a heartbeat," he barked and when he spoke saliva just flew from his jaws.
He suddenly lunged and one of his jaws managed to nick Fanggo right above the eye. Fanggo drew backwards from the sting and when he raised a paw to the nick he saw fresh blood gushing out from it. Fanggo couldn't stop his anger from flowing freely. He looked down at his foreleg and saw that the dark gray fur was quickly changing to a shade of dark brown. He felt it in his eyes too and it started to spread to the rest of his body.
"You're going to wish that you didn't do that," spat Fanggo as he lost control and the whole world went black for him.

In Fanggo's place now stood an extremely large dark brown male wolf with the darkest brown eyes that any wolf would ever see. Hulm just stood in shock as the creature surged forward. It opened it's mouth before it sunk it's teeth into Hulm's throat. With one easy bite it snapped Hulm's neck and he fell limp and dead.
The wolf shook it's head madly before it dove back into the forest. He didn't need to be in this battle but he certainly did need to attack something more. The wolf that he had just killed was way too easy. He wanted a challenge, he wanted blood, and he wanted pain.
The wolf continued through the forest. He scented the air until he picked up a scent, a sweet scent of a wolf. This wolf was alone and alone meant that it would be easy for him to pick it off but maybe it would give him the challenge that he desperately wanted. He stopped behind a tree and when he opened his mouth to scent the air saliva dripped from his mouth. It pooled at his paws and just made the urge to kill fester inside of him.
He saw a wolf standing in front of him but the colors and patterns of the pelt didn't matter to him. All that mattered was that it would satisfy the urge that he felt inside of him. He set his paws before he surged out from the tree and stopped right in the front of the wolf.
He was faintly aware of a river running behind him but it didn't matter. The wolf, who he realized was a she-wolf, turned to face him. A growl rolled in her throat before she stood up on her hind legs and howled deeply. It was a warning for him to back off but he wasn't about to do anything like that.
