Back home for the weekend ~part 1~

After a long nights rest me and soda took the train to our side of town. As we walked closer towards the house, we both kept a really good look out to make sure dally wasn't anywhere to be seen. I quietly poked my head in the door as soda followed behind. Ponyboy sat on the couch and as he looked our way his eyes lit up. I could tell he was gonna yell something. I ran to him, tackled him, and put my hand over his mouth. 'Don't say a word! We just came to see if yall were ok. Where's my brother?' I asked releasing my hand from his mouth and helping him up from the floor. 'He's not here. But Darry's in his room. I don't know where the rest of the gang is at. We all kind of split up after you guys disappeared. ' said Ponyboy. 'I'm so sorry pone!' Yelled soda running to hug him. I looked down at my feet in shame knowing it was my fault. I dragged soda into this mess. 'Well...'I sighed 'I better get going. I should find a place to stay for the weekend so my brother won't find me. Good luck guys!' Soda grabbed my arm 'no Jess! We have made it through together! You can stay here and if Dallas comes then we'll figure something out ,okay?' I smiled and nodded.
