Jess' POV:After me and soda dramatically ran out of the house I needed to help him. He was bleeding from his lip and had a pretty bad cut on his eyebrow. I'm usually the one making the cuts not the one healing them. Soda and I walked to the drug store holding hands. I was really nervous that Dallas would do something to him. I bought some rubbing alcohol, bandaids, and a beer to calm my nerves. ''You drink?'' Soda asked me. ''I don't always drink beer, but when I do it's because I get nervous'' I said doing the best 'coolest man on earth' voice I possibly could. We both cracked up. I decided to go to my brothers #1 hide out, the abandoned church. My brother used to hide there all the time. ''Why do we got hide here?''asked soda once we got to the church. ''I know my brother loves me but when he loses his temper, oh trust me , he loses his temper. He goes buck wild. ''I warned soda. After a long while of looking around we got kinda bored. ''So . Tell me. Any pass boyfriends I need to worry about? '' he asked breaking the silence. ''No. I never really liked anybody till now. That's why my brothers so protective. ''I replied. ''So does that mean I'm your first boyfriend, I took you on your first date, I stole your first kiss-'' ''and your the first boy I actually like, and the first boy to hold my hand, and besides my brother the first boy I actually care about ''I said cutting him off and continuing the list. His eyes started to twinkle once I said that last part. Once the sun went down it started to get colder and colder. Soda put his arm around me once he noticed how cold I was. And in a matter of minutes we fell asleep.
