I was about to exit the room when my mother calls "Kiara dear can we talk I your room later?"
"Sure mom." I say and retreat upstairs.
I walk into my room and quickly throw my bed together somewhat to make it look decent and I grab my bag and put my homework on my bed and start my chemistry notes and the I move on to my calculus pages that are due tomorrow.
Incase you haven't noticed in not the smartest in the bunch. I understand basic math and stuff but combine numbers and letters together an I don't have a hot clue what you talking about.
And I'm not the best with chemicals, I once actually made a substance that no one had yet discovered since I was supposed to be making a slide solution when instead I made a dangerous chemical that shoots of sparks and bubbles and gives off a nasty odour. Needless to say I failed that project. So iwa a alike super confused on the stuff they gave me and was trying to figure it out when mom knocked on the door.
"Come in" I shout and she turns the knob and walks in.
"How was your day Hun? Did everything go okay?"
"Ya why?" I ask
"We'll it just looked like you had a rough day and I was wondering if anything happened.."
"No nothing did unless you count that I'm failing calculus and chemistry. Why do I need to know that this and this equals that and why the hay day do I need to know what X is and what it means? ITS A STUPID LETTER!" I out burst and she laughs.
"Then why don't you ask you friends for help?"
"Cause they don't get it any better than I do." She nods
"Well what about Kovu? I heard he's really good at calculus and that new outlander Sarabi is good at chemistry?"
"Ya they are but dad would kill me if he found out." I say
"Actually know he wouldn't since Zira and I both decided that you need help with these subjects while Kovu needs help in Health like major help apparently ." I nodded
"So it's like a deal I help him and he helps me?" I ask confused
"Exactly that" she smiles
"Okay but if he hits on me one more time I'm going to introduce my fist to his face." I say
My mom laughs and says "Sure dear, now hurry up and wash up for dinner tonight it's antelope." I grin in excitement it was my favourite meal.
"Sure thing mom." And she closes the door behind her and i go to get washed up.
