Chapter 6
“Many eons ago there was a young queen who gave birth to a little girl.” “The king was outraged that the child was a girl since it was their firstborn.” “He ordered that the child be banished from his land and never spoken of again.” “Before the baby was taken away the queen put this letter and necklace in her blanket.” Marcus told her.
“Are you saying that I am that child?” “How can that be?” Callie questioned.
“Callie you never were supposed to find out you were adopted ever.” “In all the time periods that you have been in this is the first one you found out.” “We knew it was just a matter of time before it happened.” he said.
“What does this mean now that I know?” Callie asked.
“I don’t have an answer.” Marcus said.
“Tell me something Marcus are you always with me in the time periods that I have been in?” she asked.
“Yes Callie you just do not remember me.” he told her.
“How is this all possible?” “I don’t understand.” Callie said.
“There is a rip in the time continuum and things fall through it and you are one of those things.” Marcus said.
“Great I fell through the time continuum.” “How do we fix it?” she asked.
“Callie we don’t only you can do that.” he said.
“How am I supposed to do that when I do not even understand it.” Callie stated.
Callie sat down and put her hands to her face, she started to cry. Her body trembled.
“How am I supposed to do this when I have no clue what this is?”
“Why is this happening to me?”
“God what have I done to get here?
I don’t understand I just don’t understand.” she told him.
Marcus felt for her. He truly did not know how to help her. Marcus was just her watcher.
Callie stated to look up mythology especially Greek. She never realized how deep it went until she stared her research. She realized that it had a connection with Atlantis. So she started to look for the mysterious Atlantis. Weeks went by and she only got so far. Then she received a letter telling her to go to New Orleans. That she would find answers there. So she packed and got on a plane headed for New Orleans. She did not understand how going there was going to help her find answers but she was desperate to find those answers.
She arrived in New Orleans early the next morning. She had no idea where to even start. But she felt some kind of odd connection to something here. It felt calming but terrifying at the same time. There was defiantly something here. She went to the local library and did some research. She found some books that were private to this library it had a lot of information about things that go on in New Orleans that most people do not even know about. She was going through one of the books where she found an envelope addressed to her. She looked around the library to see if anyone was a round, strange whoever this is that is doing this knows she is in New Orleans. She opened the letter.
Callahan which is your given name. I know you are confused and frustrated because you do not understand. Soon you will. There is a man name Ion he will find you. He will be telling you things you need to listen to understand. You are part of something that is great and good but you will be tried and tested. Evil will try to get you, you must be strong. I know you can do this.
The letter was unsigned. God she wishes she understood this. Callie stayed at the library a little longer then left. She was walking when she sensed someone following her. She turned around and there was a man dressed all in black, long black hair following her. She walked over to him and asked if his name was Ion. The man nodded.
“Then you know who I am.” Callie stated.
“Yes I do, I know all about you.” Ion told her.
Ion had a very thick accent one she had never heard before. He looked young in the face but his eyes were wise beyond his years. Callie wondered what kind of information Ion could give her.
“I understand you would like some answers to some questions.” Ion said.
“Yes I would like all the information you can give me.” Callie said.
“Then let’s go to the place where you can find those answers.” Ion told her.
Ion reached over grabbed her arm and in a flash they were in Atlantis. Callie stood there trembling and unsteady Ion grabbed her to steady her.
“You are alright.” he told her.
“Where am I?” Callie asked.
“Close your eyes and it will come back to you.” Ion told her.
Callie closed her eyes vivid faces, scenes, and events flash through her mind. Familiar all of them but she did not understand how they could be. Then she saw the face of a beautiful woman she knew this woman but did not know how. Ion watched her all the while this was happening.
“Who is the woman, I know I have seen her and I know I know her.” Callie asked.
“Do you know where you are yet?” Ash asked.
“No not yet.” she told him.
“You need to realize that before anything else.” “Think Callie it will come back to you.” Talon told her.
So Callie closed her eyes and concentrated all of a sunned her eyes flew opened.
“Oh my God I am in Atlantis.” Callie stated.
“Yes we are Callie.” “The land of your birth as it is written the princess will come home to rule and take her rightful place.” Ion told her.
