Chapter Seven: Chaos In Sliontor

Tabuga leapt backward out of the dust cloud glaring up at the huge man. Tamira blasted a man away from me as I turned my attention back to my own battles. As I fought only grunts while we were in the streets, I will just go on to speak of Tabuga's battle.

Tabuga attempted to slash her spear across the large man's knees as she shot back in at him. The man suddenly shrank back to his previous size, and her aim went high. The man grabbed the shaft of her spear with one hand and punched at her with his other hand, which suddenly grew in size and struck her in the chest.

Tabuga was blasted backward, and the man tossed her spear aside. Tabuga jumped to her feet again as the man stomped after her. She conjured a whale in the air above the man's head. It dropped on him, but the man suddenly grew in size until the whale was the size of a large dog compared to him. Tabuga attempted to blast him now that he was a bigger target, but he threw the whale at her. Her spell struck the whale as the man shrank back to his previous size. Tabuga dismissed the whale with a wave of her hand.

"Titan mage, you'll regret that," she growled.

The man laughed and swung his fist at her. His arm lengthened as he swung, and Tabuga skipped backward. The titan mage's hand slammed into the ground mere millimeters away from her. Tabuga conjured several tentacles that appeared to belong to a giant squid, which wrapped around the titan mage's arm and flung him across the street. He landed near one of the buildings we had been behind. Tabuga conjured several large spears and sent them flying at the titan mage, who enlarged one hand and held it before him like a huge shield made of flesh, blood and bone.

The titan mage grunted as the spears dug into his hand, but he shook them out with a couple of shakes. Tabuga conjured a thunder cloud above her head and made it shoot bolts of lightning at the titan mage. In the midst of shaking spears from his hand, he wasn't able to dodge or shield himself in time. He let out a deep bellow of pain as the lightning charred his skin.

Tabuga shot forward conjuring another spear as she came. The titan mage shrank his hand down to its normal size and stepped aside just as Tabuga slammed the spearhead down where he had been standing. His arm enlarged again, and this time Tabuga grabbed onto his knuckle as his fist shot at her and jumped at him with her spearhead leading the way. The titan mage made his other hand enlarge as he brought his other hand forward. Tabuga's conjured spear penetrated his hand, but as his arm elongated, she was no longer able to reach the titan mage with her spear.

The titan mage grew larger and slammed his hand down toward the ground. Tabuga let go of her conjured spear and jumped off the titan mage's hand just in time. She ran forward toward the titan mage again conjuring a large bomb over the titan mage's head as she ran in. The titan mage ran forward as well to avoid the bomb. A huge cactus erupted between Tabuga and the titan mage as Tabuga stopped and the titan mage kept coming.

The titan mage slammed into the cactus and smashed it down. Tabuga stepped aside as it crashed down next to her and conjured several anvils over the titan mage. The titan mage rolled aside as the anvils came raining down upon him. He managed to dodge each one, but Tabuga conjured another wave of items to rain down on him. This time, giant boulders rained down on the titan mage, who enlarged his size to bat them away.

Tabuga ran forward and conjured a wall of swords on either side of the titan mage. The titan mage shrank down to his normal size in an attempt to escape the swords, which few forward at him, but he couldn't escape them all. Several of the swords plunged into his sides. The titan mage let out a booming roar of pain.

"Now you've brought my rage over the boiling point, you little turd!" the titan mage growled, "Die!"

The man grew to a truly enormous size. He started stomping around trying to crush Tabuga, who jumped around and conjured a huge battle axe, which she slammed onto the titan mage's feet every time he came close to flattening her. The titan mage shrank a bit to avoid getting his feet chopped into more than was necessary, and Tabuga, sensing that he was weakening, began conjuring spikes on the ground where the titan mage was standing.
