As Ethiza, Tamira and I made our way further into the building, the sound of explosions reached us from down the hallway. We could not yet see what was causing the explosions, so we cautiously moved down the hallway. I wondered who was making all of the noise, and I assumed it was a battle between members from mummy dust and celestial storm.
"How do you think the others are doing?" I asked Ethiza and Tamira.
"They should be fine. They're all very strong," Tamira answered casually.
"They should have found most of the enemies and defeated them by now," Ethiza said. "But I think this is all very fishy."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
Tamira gave us a curious look.
"I mean I think this is all suspicious. Why would Mummy Dust, the tenth most powerful evil guild in the world, travel half way across the planet to take over an island to dominate it despite the fact that two of the most powerful good guilds are very close to this island?" Ethiza said as though asking herself more that answering me.
"Yeah..., what would be on this island that they would want so badly?" Tamira said thinking out loud.
"What are they up to...? Starkadhr from Lich Crown buys an incomplete deity corpse, and now Mummy Dust has infiltrated a council that has a..." Ethiza trailed off in her own thoughts.
Ethiza suddenly as though something hit her as a look of shock appeared on her face.
"This cannot be coincidence," Ethiza said to herself.
"What is it?" Tamira and I asked together.
"We have to stop them! Tamira, Lucina follow me!" Ethiza yelled as she tore down the hallway.
"What is wrong Ethiza?" I asked loudly as Tamira and I ran after Ethiza.
"I'll explain afterwards! If we don't stop them, were are in big trouble!" Ethiza yelled. "If my guess is right, the future of the good guilds will be greatly threatened!"
Tamira and I can after Ethiza. A rumbled sounded as we went down the hallway then the wall on our left suddenly exploded as something smashed out of the wall. Ethiza swung her swords at the figure that had burst forth from the wall.
"AAAAAAHHHH! The disciplinarian! No, please have mercy on me! I didn't do it," Flame roared.
"Please don't eat us!" Fryn cried as an afterthought.
Ethiza lowered her swords.
"Flame and Fryn," she said briskly, "Excellent timing. This is important. Follow me!"
Ethiza turned and ran down the hallway again.
"Ahaha! Are we going to fight someone else?" Flame asked gleefully as he ran after Ethiza.
"Ethiza is really onto something," Tamira said as she ran after Ethiza.
Fryn suddenly dropped back from Flame's side to run behind me.
"Lucina, since you have a lot of powerful spirits, I'm going to use you as a shield," Fryn said.
"You really are a coward," I said in exasperation as I ran.
"No, I'm not," Fryn said sounding quite the opposite of offended.
Ahead of us, a hidden door suddenly opened and Cynthia stepped out. She suddenly flattened herself back against the door she had just closed as Ethiza rushed past her.
