Niecey. . .

When I finally got up to join the party it was already poppin’. Shawny and Chris were dancing and laughing. Frankie was working her body on CJ. Claire was with Shayne. And there were so many others I didn’t even know some of their names. I felt big arms wrap around my waist. Hakeem.

“Where you been Babe?” He kissed my neck.

“I was sleep Hakeem.”

“Well you ain’t sleep nomore. Let’s party.” He pulled me over to everyone else and we started dancing. Everyone was having a good time. When everyone started to settle down and eat I saw Shawny, Chris, Frankie, and CJ all sitting at a table together. I walked over with Hakeem.

“I’m glad to see all y’all made it.” I kissed Shawny and Frankie on their cheeks.

“We wouldn’t miss it for the world Boo.” Shawny laughed at me because I gave her and Chris a mug.

“Don’t hate girl.” Before Chris could say anything a little boy walked over holding Liah’s hand. Behing them was a little girl following close behind.

“Dre, what you doing to my daughter lil’ nigga?” CJ gave Dre a cold look.

“I just walk her over here. She my bestfriend. We gone get married watch.” Dre smiled and Amelia giggled a little bit.

“My baby growing up so fast.” Frankie laughed because Liah was only three and Dre was four. “Amelia, come eat Baby.” She ran over to her mommy and climbed on her lap. Dre went over and sat in the chair next to them and started eating his food. He was too cute.

“Niecey, Hakeem. . . This is my nephew, Andre and my niece, Cassandra. We call her Cassie.” I looked down at Cassie and smiled she was so adorable.

“Hi Cassie.” She reached up for me so I picked her up. She was dark and had big brown eyes. Her hair was thin and jet black. I handed her to Shawny.

When I looked at Andre there was something so familiar about him. He had a dark complexion and chubby cheeks. His hair was also jet black and slightly curly. He looked like I had seen him before. Somewhere. Who knows. Then it clicked. This was Chris’s nephew. He looked just like Tyler.

“Baby.” Hakeem snapped me out of my thoughts. I had been sitting there staring at Andre for a while. I was zoned out.

“Whose is he?” I asked looking straight in Chris’s eyes.

“He’s not his Niecey. His mother is Alex.” He knew what was going through my mind. Alexandra was Chris’s older sister. She and Tyler looked like there were twins even though she was 2 years older than him. I was slightly relieved. I didn’t want to show it but I know that Hakeem caught on. He put his arms around my waist and kissed my neck. I grabbed his arms. The rest of the party went great but, I was glad when everyone started to leave. When everyone was gone I went to clean up our place. Hakeem went to our room to play the game. He never helped me clean up after our get togethers. He rarely cleaned anything unless I was sick or didn’t feel like it. Sometimes I wondered how he lived without me for so long. By time I finished cleaning up it was really late. I went into our room and stripped. I got in bed with only my bra and panties on. I fell asleep within minutes.
