Chapter 5 - See You Tomorrow

Amelia's p.o.v

After Chloe left, I went and sat back down at the table where Ronnie was almost done with his food. "So, your going out tomorrow?" He asked, looking up at me. "Yeah, after school I'm going to Barnes and Noble with Chloe" I said smiling. "Okay, well text me if anything happens" Ronnie said smiling. "I'm going to bed" I said, bringing my dish to the sink and washing it. "But you just woke up" Ronnie said laughing. "Well, sleep is very important to me" I said, looking at him chuckling. "Alright, well I'm off to bed too. Tomorrow we are going to the studio to work on the new album. Goodnight" Ronnie said, kissing my forehead. "Night" I said, finishing washing dishes and going to my room.

SKIP TO THE MORNING...

I wake up to my alarm going off. I groan and turn it off. Getting up, I felt a bit dizzy from standing up too fast. I walk to the bathroom and do my business. After I'm finished, I go to my closet and pick out a pair or grey jeans, a white button up and a black sweater. I put it on, first my jeans, then my white button up and my sweater ontop. I look in the mirror and smile, I look like a goth Alice in a way I smile at myself and put on perfume. I grab my phone, headphones, money, and bag and walk down the stairs.

Going into the kitchen I grab a water bottle from the fridge and walk towards the door. I grab my keys from the hook and walk out.

Since I don't live far from the school, I walk to school. I could take the bus, but the cheerleaders take the bus and they just hit me in the head with paper balls. I sigh at the thought and continue walking until I see the school.

I walk into the school, up to my locker and pull out my Trigonometry book. I almost forgot it's Friday. I silently cheer. I walk to my class and sit down. This seems like it's gonna be a long Friday.

I walk into Art to see that half of the class is filled up. I look at Mr.Way to see him already looking at me. I smile at him and go to my seat. Chloe struts in and says "LAST CLASS OF THE DAY BITCHES". I laugh and Mr.Way chuckled. "Chloe, please watch your mouth and take a seat" he said smiling at her. She looked at him and said "Of course my future Vincent Van Gogh". She came and sat next to me and just smiled. "Future Vincent?" I said laughing. "What? that's the only artist I can think of" I just laughed.

The period went by fast. I saw Mr.Way keep coming towards my desk and looking at me when he was at his desk. I locked eye contact with him, I blushed and looked away.

The bell rang and everyone was pacing and leaving. Before I left, Mr. Way called out "Amelia? Can you please stay for a couple of minutes? I would like to talk" he said. I looked at Chloe to see her outside the door. "I'll wait outside" she said, winking at me. I just nodded, rolling my eyes at her. I turn my attention back to Mr.Way and said "What's up?". "Well, uh I uh........god how do I say this" he said scratching the back of his neck. "Do you maybe want to g-go get coffee with me t-this weekend?" he said looking at me. I was shocked.

First thing I thought was "Where did this come from?" but then I was freaking out because HE ASKED ME OUT.....to get coffee of course. "uh, sure" I said, smiling. He looked up "Really?" he said. "Yeah. Is tomorrow okay?" I asked. "Yeah! I mean" he said, clearing his throat "Yeah, tomorrow is fine at 12" he said smiling. "Here's my number for anything" I said smiling, "Okay, well I guess I'll see you tomorrow" he said, as I walked out the room "Bye" I said waving "Bye" he said smiling. I walk out the school to find Chloe on her phone. "You will not believe what just happened" I said, smiling like a fool.
