I am seriously looking forward to this date. I haven't been out of the house very much lately, so this will be a big adjustment for me. Sam said he would pick me up at 5 P.M. We are going out to eat and then to a movie.

I talked to Sophia a bit more over the phone once I got done speaking with Sam over coffee. She fully supports me now, I think she was just a little confused at first. I'm glad I am moving on. I still think about and worry over Harry constantly, but I trust that will slowdown eventually. Plus, that is not my job, it's Lisa's job. I'm not the one engaged to Harry unfortunately.

I put on a cute yellow sweater and blue skinny jeans, I slip into my black ridding boots and grab my coat. Sam just texted me that we was waiting in the lobby outside in his car so I make my way downstairs. Immediately the cold air hits my face and I quickly make my way over to Sam's car. I get inside, and warmth engulfs me.

"Hello, beautiful." Sam says to me once I shut the car door, he reaches over the console and kisses my cheek. That was completely unexpected to me. I'm not sure how to react to that. We haven't done anything physical together like kissing or anything, and this date hasn't really even started yet. What do I do?

Without waiting for my to react he sits straight in his seat again and shifts the car into drive. As Sam drives, my mind begins to wonder off to thoughts about Harry and what he might be doing right now...

Wait a minute, I am on a date right now with a great guy who, by the way, just kissed ME on the cheek. Why should I waste my time thinking about someone who doesn't give two shits about me and is engaged? Because you're in love with him, that is why. My brain rudely reminds me.

"Where are we going to eat?" I ask decide to ask , trying desperately to avoid any unwanted thoughts about you know who.

"There is this great restaurant I found a few years ago that has the best burgers. You are going to love it." Sam said excitedly.

"Cool." I answer casually.

A few more minutes of London traffic and we had arrived at the restaurant Sam was talking about. It was called Phil's Burgers, clever. Sam opens the door for me like a gentleman and we both walk over to a booth and scan the menus. This place is set up like a 50s dinner, every table is white with a red checkered pattern on it. There is a cartoon of a rather large man in a white apron and chef's hat holding a big burger on a plate above his head. I'm assuming this is the cartoon representation of Phil.

A waitress with the name Gwen written on her name tag approached our table. She looks to be my age or maybe a year older. She had flaming red hair pulled up into a messy bun, a white dress and apron on as a uniform, and she carried a notepad and pen in her hands.

"Sam, always good to see you here!" She said clearly excited to see him. He must come here often in order for her to recognize him.

"Well, you know I have to come here to get the best burger in the world, of course I'm gonna come back often." Sam said smiling at her.

"And who is this pretty young lady you have here? I have never see her here before." Gwen asks turning to me.

"This is my date, Grace." Sam introduces me, I give her a small shy wave. I'm still not used to social interactions yet, after being a recluse for almost a week and a half it is hard for me to function normally.

"You are a very lucky girl, Sam is chased after by every girl who sees him. The fact he is chasing after you is quite special. Oh, and darling you are going to love our burgers, they are the best!" Gwen said to me. "What can I get you two to drink?"

I order a water and Sam orders a diet Coke. A little while later Gwen comes back with our drinks and asks us if we are ready to order.

"Will it be the usual, Sam?" Gwen asks him. Wow, he comes here so often he has a usual? I don't have a usual anywhere. My life really does suck...

"Yes. You know me to well, Gwen." He says handing her his menu. I order a simple cheese burger, I didn't really know what else to order since this place apparently has "the best burgers".

Small talk fills the time in which our order was placed and when the food came. I take a bite into my steaming burger and instantly and am overtaken by the amazing taste. The meat was cooked to perfection, not to much smokiness to it yet the flavor is sill there. The way the pickles, cheese, ketchup, and onions worked together was like a beautiful orchestra in my mouth. Sam was right, this place does have the best burgers...

"So, what do you think? Was I right or was I right?" Sam asks me with a smirk after having taken a bite from his burger too.

"You are right. I am in burger heaven." I say and he laughs.

"Okay, so first you chose the amazing cafe, now this amazing burger place. What's next? I think you should choose the movie tonight, you have good taste." I say obviously amazed by his ability to find hidden treasures I would have never looked twice at.

"Well, I'm going to have to agree with you. After all, I did choose you." Sam says sweetly. I sit there with a stupid smile on my face, lost for words. Nobody has ever said something so nice to me, not even Harry. I mean, Harry and I never dated or anything so it's not like he would ever say something like this to his best friend, that would just be weird...

I look down and blush furiously, to afraid to look back at Sam and let his see me pink cheeks. Suddenly, I hear the bell above the door jingle signifying that someone has entered this amazing restaurant. I look up to see the only two people in the world I would least expect to see here. Harry and Lisa.
