Five Wishes (ON HOLD)

Chapter One

Danielle P.O.V

"Bye Penny." I waved to my best friend while walking to my moms car. "Good luck tomorrow Dani." She smiled and I got into my mom's black Lexus. You might be wondering why Penny said good luck to me. Well, I'm auditioning for the X Factor tomorrow.

"When you get home, your going straight to bed." My mom demanded. "But mom-" I was cut off. "No buts! You have a big day tomorrow." She said signaling the end of the conversation.

I got my plaid pajama pants and my white tank top on and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I took out my toothbrush and started brushing my barred in teeth that were trapped by braces. I have to get them tightened next week. My braces are a light blue color.

I went to bed and fell into a dreamless sleep.

~next day~

I woke up that morning from the sound of firetruck sirens. I looked out the window and sighed. In the distance I could see a fire. My dad was a fireman and I was wondering if he got the call to go there. I mean even though his company is in the Bronx he still gets calls for him to go in New York City.

I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and then put most of my hair to one side of my head and approved my look. I then put on a natural, thin layer of makeup. I put my thumb up in approval.

Whenever I smiled, all you can see is a light blue mouth that is keeping my teeth trapped in jail. I felt bad for my poor teeth. I giggled at my silly thoughts and got went to my room to get dressed.

I put on a black tank top with an orange see-through top over it. I slipped into my jean shorts and slid my feet into my black and white converse high tops. I looked into my mirror and smiled, showing off my embarrassing braces.

My mom banged at my door signaling that I had to go. "C'mon you jerk! It's bad enough that we have to go and support you already!" My brother Aiden yelled. "Yeah you idiot." My other brother Luke yelled.

Aiden and Luke were twins. They are unable to be sepparated. Luke is the nice twin, but everyone at school loves Aiden. Aiden is more of the let loose kind of kid where Luke can let loose, but he is also very serious.

Everyone knows me because of the famous Destiny twins. They are usually the talk at school. Sometimes I don't like it because even the teachers know me, and they usually compare me to them.

"Let's go." My brother Philip said to me as I walked out of my room. Phil was sort of the leave me alone type of person. He is very quiet and tries to stay out of fights.

I smiled and walked to the kitchen to grab something to eat. I gobbled down a banana and to my surprise I saw my dad. He opened his arms and I ran into them. He enveloped me into a big hug.

"I thought you were working today?" I questioned him. "Today's a special day, and they know what's happening and everyone at the firehouse is supporting you and wishing you the best of luck. I nodded and all six of us, my dad, mom, my three seriously annoying brothers, and I walked into the lobby and out of the hotel.

I got to the audition place in New York City, which only took like a twenty minute drive. I had a long wait a head of my because of the crazily huge line. To pass the time, I decided to sing with some of the people that I met there.

There was Alicia who sang beautifully. In fact, we both had a lot in common. We both love One Direction, Fifth Harmony, watching Survivor, playing video games, singing, and drawing during our spare time.

We became friends quickly, but you don't want to be too close to somebody or else you MIT get separated from them and be heartbroken. I learned that from watching X Factor UK when I was an exchange student.

It's been a few hours before I finally got to do my audition. "Ok, the judges are ready for you." A large man said. I nodded and walked in the direction that he pointed to. Someone gave me a microphone and then I walked on stage.

"Hello." I said nervously. "What's your name and how old are you?" Demi asked. " I'm Danielle Destiny and I'm fourteen years old." I smiled. "Aww." Brittany said. "What are you going to be singing?" Simon ask. "Umm Oath by Cher Lloyd." I was so nervous. I can't explain my emotions. "Best of luck sweetheart." Simon said.

I wait until the music came on to sing. Finally, when it came on, I sing/rapped the first part and any other parts like that. Demi and Brittany stood up and started clapping at the end of my performance. I was smiling madly.

"Thank you." I said. "Ok, lets start with me shall we?" L.A. Said. I nodded. "Your voice is just so amazing. It's incredible that someone that young has that kind if a voice." He finished. "Thank you."

"Ok, just like L.A. said, you made it your own and you sound like you have the voice of a nineteen year old." She smiled. "Thank you." I said. "You are so adorable!" Demi said. I giggled. "I wasn't expecting that kind if voice, like Brittany said, you do have the voice of a nineteen year old." She complimented. I smiled in response.

Finally, the one that I was afraid of seeing. "By the way, you have an amazing smile." I chuckled at that. "On the performance, I think thought that was the right song for you. You sounded like you created it. Your voice is so mature that I thought you were lying about your age and you were really eighteen." Simon finished. "Thank you so much." I said.

"Well I'm going to kick it off with one huge yes." Demi said. Then we went onto L.A. "Yes." He smiled. Next was Brittany. "If I said no, I would never forgive myself. Of course it's a yes!" She joked. Lastly, we had Simon. "You are going to be happy to hear that you have four yes's!" He said I thanked all of them and ran off the stage.

I could still hear clapping coming form the audience and a faint clapping coming from the large waiting room. My parents enveloped me in a big hug.

Ok, the next chapters are going to have the other people's performances and nothing else. Lol
