Chapter 13

Tony's pov 2 weeks later

I hadn't received a letter in two weeks since I sent one, and that wasn't normal. Jaime had assured me multiple times that it must me a postage issue or that she needs more time to write it because of school or life or something. But it's been 2 weeks! They usually come in a few days and a week at most, but never a whole 2 weeks.

I had decided to send another letter to her, not sure whether hers had been lost in the mail or something and she didn't know. I hopes she would reply, oh lord i hoped she would reply. It was scary how attached i had become to this little friend i had, that i could almost consider a sibling, so attached that now that one letter hasn't come through, I've gone into self destruct worrying about her.

It read:

To Jodi,

I haven't received a letter from you in 2 weeks, I just wondered if it was a postal error or something you didn't know about !

I know I asked about the bruise on your face, if I have upset you by saying that or anything else, then I truly am sorry. I don't want you to feel like you have to answer because you definitely don't, you preserve the right to keep some things from other people, you know ?

Writing to you makes me sososo happy ! i have it makes you feel good too because i definitely don't want to lose this friendship we have.

If you just don't want to talk to me, then you should have just said. Please give me an explanation though, I don't mean to sound pushy or worried but I just want to know why you have stopped or haven't written to me in a while because i care.

I really do hope to hear from you soon, i hope you're doing well.

I put the letter in the envelope, praying that i would get a response to my slightly pleading letter. I knew i was probably overreacting way to much, but i needed a response.
