Jodi's pov
I woke up, slouched over on my desk, I fell asleep drawing again... I thought as I got up, taking pieces of paper that had stuck onto me off of my face and stretching in my chair. I got up and searched for some clothes in my drawer. I found some black jeans that weren't very skinny on me any more and an omam tank top that Layla had given me as a 'hand-me-don' kind of thing, I had gotten a few of those and they where very nice.
I changed into my clothes, I had a shower last night, and then I went downstairs to find Layla smiling and sitting at the kitchen table. "You seem happy." I said, sitting across from her as she took a bite of he toast. she motioned for me to have some but I politely refused, seeing as my appetite was still 10x smaller then anyone else's. "Guess what!" she said excitedly, I shrugged my shoulders, staying quiet. "I'm transferring to your school next term!" she said, I smiled straight away, "How did you get them to let you move?!" I said, hugging her now, "I'm doing different courses at my school, but most of them are very similar to or harder than the ones at your school, so catching up wont be to hard for me!" she said, I smiled and hugged her again.
We left soon after that, I grabbed my backpack and me and Layla both went our separate ways to our schools. I was happy that soon enough we would be at the same school, and I would have a friend to be with during school.
I arrived at school, they had started allocating us certain lessons whilst I was gone, and luckily I had 2 free periods today, they where both the last two lessons so I only had 3 lessons meaning only around 3 hours here. It also meant I could go home sooner and write my letter to Tony.
My English lesson was my last lesson and I was happy for that, ending the day on a good note. I sat at my usual place at the back and got my book out, deciding to listen to music whilst we all waited for the teacher, knowing she would be 20 odd minutes late as usual.
I was the only one with a pen pall, so the lessons had moved onto other things, this meant that instead of her handing the letters out during class, I had to give her my letter and receive any after class or in the office if it had been given to the wrong person.
Once everyone else had left the class and it was time for me to collect my letter, my teacher pulled a slightly big box out from under her desk, over it was my name and a bunch of smiley faces. "You seem to have gotten more than a letter Jodi, I see you and, Tony, have become friends." She said smiling, but having to pause before saying his name because she didn't know. "Thank you Miss, see you tomorrow." I said before walking out of the classroom and making my was home.

I got home later that day with my letter, I unlocked the front door with the key from under the plant pot near the door, I then went up to my room and shut the door. I sat down at my desk and moved all of my drawings and art pens out of the way, then put my letter on the desk and opened it.
it read:
To Jodi,
I don't mind about you ranting more often, if anything it's good to help and frankly I regret not talking to people about my problems when I could have.
I'm glad you live in a loving home, with people who care for you. You really do deserve it, more then anyone.
I think It's good that your being tested for depression, and that she's looking out for you like that. It means that you will get help if and when you need it.
Since you don't have a phone at the moment, I'll give you my number now so that you can just text me when you get it; *inserts number here*, now you can just text me when you get the phone.
Changing the subject, I'm having another movie night tonight but with the whole band. I'll be sure to tell you about it and recommend some films to you because if we ever meet then you need to see some of my favourite films!
Also we will be having pizza but I still don't think sending you a slice would work out very well with the mailman in your neighbourhood!
I look forward to your next letter, also, I got you that present I promised! Don't worry, it didn't cost a penny but I'm sure you will love it! It will definitely make Layla jealous! It's a few things but they're all only small.
From Tony.

I smiled slightly as I read the letter. I feel like he really does care and that surprises me. I expected him to be like the stereotypical famous person, to write the same thing back to everyone and not read their letters. But I was wrong, and that made me more happy every time he replied because I knew he hadn't given up on me.
I started writing back.

To Tony,
I'm glad you support me, but that's enough about me! Let's change the subject, I don't like being reminded.
Your so lucky! I never get to have movie nights, but since being at Layla's house I've seen loads of films! You should recommend some to me though because the ones I saw weren't great.
I'd love to meet you someday! It would be so cool. Are you going on tour any time soon? I could come to a show or something. That would be awesome, Layla would love it!
How have you been doing? We always talk about me, what about you? Also how's Jaime and the band? Do they know about me yet because we've been talking for a while now.
THE PRESENT IS AMAZING!!! I love it so much, thank you!!! There's so much I can't believe it! I've never had bracelets before and I can't wait to start wearing them. I'm sure Layla will be jealous, but I get hand me down clothed anyways so I don't cost much money to add to their taxes. I have a smaller appetite as well so they don't need to buy to much more food.
I'll make sure to listen to some of those bands as well, I've heard of most of them but not all. Can you recommend some more to me? I don't listen to much but I like pretty much everything. The only thing I don't like is pop but I'm sure that won't offend you.
I'm really glad we still talk, your such a good friend.
Also, Layla is being transferred over to my school so now I will have a friend to be with! I also had 2 lessons off today so I came home about 3 hours later, seeing as they where the last lessons and I missed lunch at school as well. It took a lot of stress off me because I still get pointed at and such.
Apparently whilst I was gone, someone started a rumour that I had killed myself! I can't believe some of those people. Now I'm well known as 'the girl who tried to commit suicide' even though I didn't! It just annoys me.
I'm looking forward to your next letter,
From Jodi.
•End Of Letter•
I put it in the envelope I had gotten from school and left it in my bag, ready to hand in tomorrow. I then changed into some sweatpants and a baggy jumper, climbed into bed and had a nap. Falling asleep almost instantly.
