Authors note: Sorry I had terrible writers block, not to mention vacations and work... Anyways, I hope you like the little surprise in  the chapter after marilyn's story is told! Trust me, its important in a coming chapter that this happened now and remember something someone says ( Edmund, towards the opening of the story)...Oh and if you read this authors note, add a * to the comment you post :) Thanks!

"Now, Marilyn, I believe you have something you need to explain to us," High King Peter said.

"Yes, I suppose I do," Marilyn said, taking a deep breath. 'When I was mearly five, I suffered what would have been to most a life threatening injury. Luckily, I survived but was in a coma for a few weeks. During those few weeks, while my body wasn't working, my mind was working overtime. I was in a land that you all know as Narnia, or here. I met a Lion, or Aslan, who told me I was saved for a purpose. I had to save Narnia with help of the Kings and Queens that had not yet arrived. You see, since I was five, it would be five more years until you entered the land. He told me to seek out a man by the name of Diggory Kirke, who would teach me all about Narnia. I was there when you four first entered the land, you know. I was not able to enter Narnia yet, and you probably didn't even know that I existed at the time. Anyways, I learned everything that the professor knew, gaining more information as you came and left Narnia. When the Professor died, I knew it was a matter of time before I would be here. I must be the one to kill the leader of the rebels."

"You have to kill the rebel leader? So wait,  you were there when we were? Why did we not know you were their?" Edmund asked.

"I was in the servant section of the house, with Mrs. Maccready," Marilyn shuddered at the name, "And Aslan says I must be the "girl with the sword" , whatever that means, and take down the rebels."

"They prophecy!" Elizabeth exclaimed.

"What prophecy?" Marilyn asked.

Elizabeth closed her eyes and started, "When the Kings and Queens of old return, and sit upon the thrones, The reign of terror will cease to exist, brought down by the girl with the sword."

"So everything is riding on me? Oh well  I figured as much," Marilyn said, sitting her self down in one on the many chairs set up.

"So you will be back for good this time?" Caspian asked Susan. The couple was in the back of the tent, away from the commotion of Marilyn's story in the front.

"It sounds that way," She smiled at the King.

"Well then, my queen, I intend for you to rule with me, till life's final breath," Caspian said.

"I could picture my life no other w... wait a minute! Are you proposing?" Susan asked, her face turning overjoyed and her voice becoming loud.

"I requested your hand when talking with Peter back during the battle of Telmar. He gave permission so long as you were in full agreement with the marriage," Caspian's Hispanic voice whispered.

Susan laughed.

'Whats so funny?" Caspian asked, hurt by her outburst.

"Nearly two hours ago I thought you were dead, and now you're alive and I'm going to be your wife," Susan said with a smile.

"So you accept?" Caspian's face light up in joy.

"Yes," Susan said, kissing him gently.

"Then I believe this is yours," Caspian said, pulling out a ring exactly her size. It was simple yet nice. A tear shaped diamond was in the center of the ring, with two small sapphires on opposite sides.

"Oh its gorgeous!" Susan exclaimed.

Caspian smiled at her.

"What's going on back there?" Peter asked, a knowing glint in his eye.

"Oh thank you Pete!" Susan said, hugging her brother.

"So you said no?" Peter teased.

"Yes Peter I turned down Caspian's proposal. I just wear the ring because its pretty," Susan said sarcastically.

"Proposal? When was I to be informed of this?" Lucy asked, feigning anger.

"I didn't plan on telling you Lucy," Susan shot back in jest.

The sisters laughed.

"I hate to break up this, but we have to prepare for a battle," Marilyn said.

"Just relax Marilyn," Edmund said.

"I can't relax. I know they willl be here in two days, and you expect me to relax?" Marilyn said angrily.

"Two days! Tis a short time for planning," Reeden said, a troubled look on his face.

"I know, and thats why we need to plan!" Marilyn said.

The celebration of the propsal was shot down by the plans that would lead them into battle. And one of these people in the tent was a traitor to all of them, without even knowing it.
