Prince Braeden’s POV
“So what if I’m a little drunk? It’ll be worse if I don’t go,” Dizzy says while applying her lipstick. I roll my eyes at her attitude and look at myself in the mirror again. I look hot, if I do say so myself.
My hair is brushed back and my crown filled with ruby and onyx rests heavily on my head. It’s a gold crown and I make sure it’s resting perfectly on my head before saying, “Diz just don’t talk a lot. Then Mom and Dad will just think you’re your usual self.”
I fix my tux jacket before looking back at Dizzy.
Her hair is still in the same style and her long, figure hugging red dress looks nice on her. Dizzy pulls up her dress to ask, “Which shoes? The red or the gold?” Both of the shoes are about four inches but I point to the gold.
“Your crown is gold so you want to match, right?” I ask. Really and truely I don’t care what color shoes Dizzy wears as long as she can keep her balance.
Dizzy kicks her red shoe to the side and looks under the piles of clothes for the other gold shoe. Dizzy tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear and I see her large gold hoops with rubbies dangalling at the bottom. They go with her hooped necklace that has a few rubbies encrusted.
“Found it! Brae can you get my crown?” Dizzy asks before ploping in her chair to put on her shoe. Since I have very little choice I walk towards her metal tiara cabniet and pull out the one she described earlier.
It’s a heavily decorated tiara filled with rubbies and tiger eyes. It’s a gold tiara and it’s highest point is about four inches. It definitely catches someone’s eye and I can tell it’s been recently polished.
I close the cabniet before asking, “Anythign else? We’ll be late if we stay any longer.”
Dizzy looks up and asks, “Is my makeup okay?” Her red lipstick, mascara, and neutral eye shadow looks nice. I’m glad she didn’t try something over the top.
“Very nice now lets go,” I tell her while helping her up.
I place the tiara on Dizzy’s head and offer her my hand. Dizzy is half an inch taller than me thanks to her heels and their clicking on the ceramic floors becomes a familiar sound. I feel a pair of eyes on me and when I look up my suspison is confirmed.
“What?” I question.
“Who are we meeting?” Dizzy asks.
“Earth Elementals,” I answer and Dizzy groans.
“But they’re so weak. Why are we wasting our time with them?” Dizzy questions.
“No idea. Again I suggest you staying quiet Dizzy,” I tell her. Dizzy can be very offensive when she wants to.
“Fine,” she replies before yawning. Thankfully the rest of the walk toward the dinning room is a quiet one. I’m not nervous about meeting strangers but I’m getting a little jumpy. I drank, danced a bit, but haven’t eaten or had a girl all night.
The two of us finally reach the dinning room and the guards open the doors to reveal my father sitting at the table and sipping what I assume is red wine. He seems bored to put it nicely. I wonder why he’s sitting in here alone.
“Hello father,” I greet him and bow slightly.
Dizzy gives a light curtsy and while drinking, dad signals for us to walk his way. I descend to the main floor and while walking his way, dad finally puts the silver cup down.
