I was on my way to Star Labs to visit my best friend Caitlin Snow.

We have been friends for a long time. Or at least as long as I could remember.

I arrived at the lab and went up to her floor. I walked in where I spotted her sitting at her desk. I snuck up behind her and covered her eyes.

"Guess who!" I said.

"Umm I don't know. Cisco? Barry?" She joked. I uncovered her eyes and she turned around.

"Hi!" I waved and smiled.

"MERINDA! OH MY GOSH! I thought you were coming tomorrow!"

"I was but I wanted to surprise you early." She hugged me tightly.

"Come on. Let me introduce you to some people." She said. "BARRY! CISCO! COME HERE!" She shouted. Two guys came walking in.

"What is it Caitlin?" Cisco asked.

"This is my friend Merinda." Caitlin said. "Merinda, this is Barry and Cisco." She pointed to each of the guys.

"Hey Merinda. How are you? I'm Cisco." A guy with dark shoulder length hair said. He came up to me and shook my hand.

"H-h-hi Merinda. I'm Barry." Said another guy. His hair was shorter and he was paler than Cisco.

He has green-blue eyes and brown hair. He was pretty cute.

"Do you guys all want to go out? Its about time for lunch." Caitlin asked.

"Yeah. I'm in for it." I said.

"Yup. I'm starving." Cisco said.

"O-ok." Barry said glancing at me. He smiled and we all walked together to go to the restaurant.

We sat in a booth and I was in between Barry and Caitlin. After we ordered, Caitlin and I joked and laughed with Cisco while Barry sat there quiet.

The waiter came back with pur food and drinks a couple minutes later. Barry was moving his drink when it almost fell off the side of the table.

We both caught it at the same time, both of us touching hands. I looked at Barry and he looked at me. I watched as his face turned red.

"Excuse me for a second." Barry said and got out of the booth. Cisco came back in and sat next to me.

"Oooooh. Looks like someone has a little crushy crushy on youuu." He sang. I elbowed him playfully I'm the side. He laughed.

"Awww. I can see it now! Marry! No Barinda! Yes! I ship it!" Caitlin teased. Cisco and Caitlin high five in front of me. I rolled my eyes and saw Barry coming back.

He had lost some of his redness and sat down.

"Barry. You don't have to hide it!" Cisco said. I looked at Cisco weirdly.

"Yeah Barry. We all know! That you have a tiny, not that tiny, crush on my best friend!" Caitlin said. I glared at her.

He was turning red again, and I was too.

"Come on man. Just admit it. You LOOOVVVEEE Merinda!" Cisco said.

"OK. Maybe I do. But she doesn't like me like that." I blushed even harder.

"Or mayyybeee she does." Caitlin smirked.

"Maybe we should leave them some privacy." Cisco said. I rolled my eyes. Cisco pushed me out of the booth so he could get out too. After he got out, he pushed me back in.

Before they left, they grabbed their food and walked to a different table.

Barry and I sat in silence. After a couple of minutes, he broke the silence by talking.

"Merinda, I was wondering. Would you maybe like to go on a date with me?" Barry asked. I looked at him and smiled.

"Of course Barry. I would love to go on a date with you." He smiled and looked down at his food. I did the same.
