9. I Will Always Love You

I woke up when I felt someone shake me.

"Wake up Yejin." The deep voice said. I groaned and stretched. I sat up and saw Chanyeol. I totally forgot he slept over.

"Good morning!" I sang.

"Let's go to SM town and get you a contact."

"Okay! Wait what about school?"

"Well someone is feeling extra perky today. Don't worry, we are excused." How are we excused? Wait, never mind he has his ways.

I walked into my closet and close it this time. I tapped my chin as I saw a variety of clothes I can wear. I looked at what the temperature is. It's gonna be a bit chilly. I put on a plain maroon long sleeved shirt. Then slip on my navy colored jeans, I find a beige colored jaket and a white colored scarf. I slip on my also beige wedged ankles high-heeled boots.

I walk out of the closet and go to my vanity. I lazily tied my hair into a bun and put on my makeup.

"What am I gonna wear? I only have my uniform!" I chuckled

"Come here, I live with like eight boys."

I go to Jin's room first since his clothes are less... Um... Loud. I chose a black hoodie, a pair of dark jeans, and Chanyeol can just wear his own shoes.

"Kaja?" I asked. I went downstairs first and spun around out of happiness. I took my little Kipling bag and waited for Chanyeol.

When he appeared, his hair was down. The silver and the purple makes him adorable and he still looks so handsome even with just a plain hoodie.

"Stop checking me out. We're going to be late." He chuckled. I hide my face in embarrassment.

We walked to a bus stop. Chanyeol told me I had to do the auditions first, but I'll only have to do one. This just happened so fast I didn't know what to sing. I'll just one of EXO's songs, nope. I'll do an American song. I got it! I Will Always Love You by Whitney Huston. (I know it's kinda cliché, but she is supposed to be Ailee and Ailee sang this song ._.)

"Can you please record my audition, I wanna show it to Taeyang." He nodded. I'm also thinking of a choreography that I should do. Hmm... Maybe freestyle.

I felt nervous because it isn't YG, it's someone completely different that will see me sing. Also my family isn't here. By family, I mean the YG family. I really have to stop thinking of them...

As ten minutes passed, we arrived in the front of SM town.

"Woah." Chanyeol and I went down and he lead me to the front desk. I saw many people waiting. I guess they have their auditions too.

"You don't have to wait." Chanyeol said plainly.

"Why?"

"I told them about you, so your up first." We walked to a big auditorium. There was a stage and there was many people anticipating to see the performers. I was nervous. A guy approached me and asked,

"What will you be performing today?"

"Um, I will be singing, I Will Always Love You by Whitney Huston. Also I will be doing Good Boy for choreography." He motioned me to give me my device that the songs will be on.

"Okay, first up is Dong Yejin." I walked up the stage slowly and faced forward.

"Anneyonghaseyo, I'm Dong Yejin." I bowed. "I will be singing I Will Always Love You by Whitney Huston. Also I will freestyle Good Boy by GDXTaeyang."

As the song played, my faced turned to sweet and innocent to sad and sorrowful. Pronouncing all the words correctly made the judges surprised. The judges were some of the people who attend our school. One was Taeyeon, she gave me the fighting sign. Another one was a guy in his mid 40's or 50's. There was Onew and Minho.

I opened my half closed eyes and saw some people wiping their eyes. It made me satisfied since I put so much emotion into the song. I know it sounds wrong, but it means I succeeded in the emotion department also the voice.

As the song ended, I took off my shoes, jacket, and scarf and placed it down. Freestyle was easy for me since Taeyang showed me a trick when he was training me. My body was swayed to the beat, now I know why people called me mini Taeyang.

My performance was done and people were awestruck at what I performed. Even Chanyeol. I took my removed clothes and put them back on.

I exited the auditorium and Chanyeol ran to me.

"You were so good! You must been trained well!" He beamed.

"Yep." I had to stay cool, since we are in a public place and people might think I'm a sasaeng fan.

"Wanna go somewhere to eat? The cafeteria here has some great food."

"Sure, but, um... Did you record it?" He nodded.

"Gowamo." I hugged him. "Woah, not here or else someone might leak a picture." I quickly let go and face forward.

As we were talking I had noticed that Chanyeol was half there. He was always checking his phone every second. Not that I care, it's just kinda rude. Chanyeol was sitting beside me in the booth. I was curious of what was so important that made him not listen.

Haneul: I have to tell you something.

Chanyeol: What is it?

Haneul: I need you us to be back together. I'm sorry Chanyeol for everything I've done in the past, I love you.

Chanyeol: Shut the hell up. You cheated on me and you don't "Love" me. Stop annoying me.

Haneul: Baby please. I miss you.

Chanyeol: What about Jin?

Haneul: I left him for you.

Chanyeol: Why? Because I got richer? I'm more handsome?

Haneul: No. It's because I miss your kisses and hugs. I miss your touch and how you make me happy.

Chanyeol: Bull fucking shit. I love someone else already.

Haneul: Who? Taeyang's sister? She is so ugly, fat, and plastic! I would be a better girlfriend.

Chanyeol: Says the one who doesn't have talent and had 7 surgeries on their face. Yea I love her, she treats me way better than you'll ever treat me. So bye.

Chanyeol suddenly smacked the back of his phone on the table. I jumped and continued eating. Did he just said he love me... Or is it just to keep Haneul away. Wait... Jin and Haneul broke up?!
