17. I Found You

Chanyeol's P.O.V

I finally got my baby back and it was great. I watch her beautiful resting face as I was trying to fall asleep. I felt that this is love, not lust. All the passion that happened earlier was the most beautiful thing. I found you, Dong Yejin. The one who could only have my heart.

"I just want you to know that, I'm still here by your side. The promise we've made isn't broken. Let's not get anyone or anything get in between this perfect relationship that we are having." I whispered and kissed her forehead. After that I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

I woke up with a smile on my face. I saw Yejin getting ready for the day. She looked at me with a smile that makes me melt. I walk over to her and lean down for a kiss until she pushes my lips away.

"Brush your teeth first then we can kiss." She chuckles and goes back to fixing her hair.

I walk into her bathroom and look around if there's any extra toothbrushes.

"Where are your spare tooth brushes?" I asked with my head still moving around.

"They're in the second drawer on the left." She replied. I walked over to the other side and open the drawer. I blushed when I saw her pads. I scavenged through the big drawer and finally I found a toothbrush.

Yejin walked in as I brushed my teeth. She smiled at me again, then she went to the second sink and washes her face.

"You wanna go to the mall so you can do some birthday shopping?" I asked. She nodded and wiped her face with a towel.

"Do you need clothes or did you bring them?" She asked.

"I brought extra clothes and some clothes for your party, formal right?" She nodded and exited the bathroom.

I quickly went out and got my backpack and changed into my clothes. As I was finished changing I heard Yejin giggling. I think she was talking to someone on the phone.

"Yah! Oppa! I have a boyfriend now!" She yelled. I listened in and she was talking to someone.

"His name is Park Chanyeol from EXO. Yes he's treating me well and he's a... Good guy." She sounded hesitant when she told him about me. Who is this guy? First it was Jin, now who's trying to get my girl?

"Gotta go oppa. Bye! Tell your mom and dad I said hi." I get out of her bathroom and look at her.

"Who's that?" I asked with my eyebrow cocked.

"It's my old childhood friend. His name is Baek Seungjo." I nodded and proceeded to putting my back pack on her chair.

"Kaja?" She asked. I nodded and took her hand.

When we walked inside the mall, I could remember the first time we've ever had a date. I smiled as I saw the table we sat on and when we had our first kiss. She was shocked, but she wasn't mad.

"Let's eat first!" She beamed and pulled me to our table.

"Remember this table?" I asked with a big grin.

"Ah~... It's where I had my first kiss with you." She smiled and hit me playfully.

"Let's have another." I scoot my chair next to her and give her a peck. "Happy birthday."

She laughed and the waiter came over to our table.

"Anneyong! What will you have today?"

"I'll have a glazed donut and chocolate milk." Yejin said and the waiter wrote it down.

"And I'll have a glazed donut and coffee." He nodded and went back to his work.

After eating we went to all the stores Yejin needed to go to. I insisted to pay, but she said no. I kept on pleading and finally a yes came out. Secretly I said I would go to "the restroom", but I went to a jewelry shop.

I saw this very fancy ring that would totally look beautiful on my Yejin and it comes with a bracelet. The bracelet looked good for me, so it could be a couple set. I bought it for Yejin so we could keep our promises. Like a promise ring. I know it's way too early into our relationship, but these 4 months felt like 4 years.

I thanked the cashier and slipped the bracelet on and put the ring into my pocket. I wrote a little note and folded it so it could fit into the box.

Dear Yejin,

Happy birthday! Here is my second gift to you, a promise ring. The promise we have will be kept into the tiny jewel. My promises are to never leave your side, make you happy hour of the day, and protect you from this cruel world. I love you.

I couldn't help but smile to see an image in my head of Yejin smiling and giving me a bear hug when I give this to her. My phone rang and it was no other than my baby, Dong Yejin!

"Yeobseyo?" I answered.

"Where are you Park Chanyeol?" She asked with a concerned tone.

"I'm just washing up. Where are you?"

"Kiss Kiss clothing store. I found some stuff that I need to buy and I'm waiting for you."

"Arasso, I'm on my way." I hung up and sped walked to the clothing store.

I saw her still browsing with a shopping basket hanging on her arm. I sped walked to her and gave her a back hug.

"Ready to buy?" I asked.

"Ne... Oppa." She said with aegyo. I'm dying! OH MY GOD DID SHE JUST SAY OPPA? SHE CALLED ME OPPA! I gave her a peck on the cheek and she blushed.

"Stop with the PDA... It's embarrassing." She giggles.

We walked up the counter and bought all the clothes. We walked out and decided to go to the park near her house.

"Yah, Dong Yejin. Come over here I have a present for you." I motioned her to step closer to me. She walked slowly and I saw an uneasy feeling on her face.

"This gift is to keep our promises. The first time we actually talked, in my mind I was thinking 'I found her, the girl of my dreams, the girl who shook my heart, I found you.' So take this ring so it symbolizes our relationship and many more. This is my promise bracelet. So we both have a piece of jewelry to show how strong our relationship is... I love you baby." I give her the box.

I watched her reaction as she opened the box. I saw tears coming out her eyes. She wears the ring and it's a perfect fit. She reads the letter and looks at me and smiled. We both sat on the bench as she admired her new ring.

"I love you too and I'll keep your promises." She gave me a passionate kiss.

I found the girl that I really only need in my life. I hope she doesn't escape from me ever again. I love you Yejinnie.
