Troye was packing? He was going to leave me.. Oh yeah Connor that's what you get for falling for your best friend. Way to go, Connor.

"Are.. you.. leaving?.." I asked and Troye kept his gaze to his luggage.
"Yeah.." He replied almost whispering.

"W-why?" I asked and I felt the tears forming in my eyes.
"Con.. I.. I can't.." He said and finished packing.
"You can't what, Troye?! FUCKING TELL ME!" I yelled angrily and Troye looked at me scared.
"Con.." He tried to calm me down.
"Don't fucking touch me!" I started sobbing in the ground.
"Con.." He kneeled down and tried to hold my hand.
"Don't.." I turned around and Troye sighed.
"How did you expect me to take this huh? After I said that I loved you.. You.. You.. Decide to leave me! And.. And that's not fair!" I said looking at Troye.
"Con.. I see you as a friend.." He whispered but I heard.

A friend? A friend. He sees me as a friend. I have been friend zoned.

"Oh.." I wiped my tears and he stared at me concerned.
"So.. The end huh?" I asked and he nodded.
"Con.. I need time.. I don't know what I feel.." He said and I looked at him.
"So.. Friend?.. You never felt any thing towards me just a friendship?" I asked and he nodded.
"Wow.." I said and he hugged me.
"I'm sorry, Con.." He said and I hugged him back.
"I'd rather have your friendship then loose you.." I hugged him tight.
"Friends?" He asked smiling.
"Friends.." I replied and he gave me a kiss in the cheek.

Friends? Yeah right..

"See you soon, Connie.." Troye got his luggage and walked away.
"See you.." I replied sounding happy and he smiled widely.

The door closed.

I collapsed in the floor and broke down. I was hurt. Fuck, I felt like he just stabbed my heart hard and I'm bleeding inside. How can he just see me as a friend? How can those 'I love you' be friendly? How can those kisses be friendly? How was our 'relationship' just friendly? How? HOW? I didn't know what to do. The guy that I first fell in love with ONLY sees me as a friend.. Nothing else.

Take me back to the basics and the simple life...

I checked who was calling at it was Troye's manager, Emma.

"Uh hey?" I said confused and she said hi back in such a happy and humble tone.
"Hi, Con! How is the romantic getaway going? I hope Troye is ready to go back to the studio now that he got his break!" She said excitedly and I sighed.
"Uh.. Em.. He.. Left.." I said trying to sound like I wasn't bawling my eyes out a few seconds ago.
"W-what?!" She asked sounding shocked.
"He.. I.. How do I say this? He.. Said.. He.. Umm.. Sees me.. As a friend.." I replied and she gasped.
"Oh my god no no no it's all my fault! Why did I want him to focus on his music more?! Why?! He loves you and I'm the worst manager!" She said sounding angry at herself.
"Emma.. Calm down.." I said trying to calm his manager down.
"NO NO CONNAH YOU DON'T GET IT! IT'S ALL MY FAULT! I MADE HIM DOUBT IF HE REALLY LOVED YOU! HE JUST WASN'T FOCUSING ON HIS MUSIC AND I.. I.. PANICKED!" She said sounding panicked now.
"Emma.. Calm down.. If he left then he will be focusing on his music even more.." I said and I heard her laughing.
"CONNAH YOU DON'T GET IT? THAT KID IS IN LOVE WITH YOU! HE WRITES ABOUT YOU! HE WRITES ABOUT HOW HE FEELS ABOUT YOU!" She said sounding even more panicked.
"And..?" I asked sounding clueless.
"HIS INSPIRATION WILL BE GONE! CONNOR! I'm so SO SORRY I WAS THINKING ONLY ABOUT MYSELF.." She sighed and I started packing.
"Don't worry, Em.. I got this.." I smiled widely and she took a while to answer.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"You'll see.." I hung up and booked a flight to Perth.

"Go get your man back!" The uber said and I giggled.
"Thank you.." I blushed slightly and payed him.

Ahh the airport. You see so many things don't you? You see people leaving their loved ones or you see people seeing their loved ones after months or years. And what am I doing? Going to get my loved one back.

Flight 997 to Perth, Australia.

"That's me.." I said to myself and grinned.

*da da ding*

Sage 👸🏼: Troye just called and said he is going to be home in a few hours. Hope you are taking your flight now and see you soon! Xx

I smiled widely about the fact that his sister is trying to help me by telling me how he didn't want to leave. In fact, he left because he was scared of getting his heart broken again. That blue eyed boy went through so much. I sighed and turned my phone off.

Seconds. Seconds turned into minutes. Minutes turned into hours. Hours. Hours turned into an eternity but I was finally home. I was finally going to Troye's blue neighbourhood.

"Thank you, Sage!" I hugged Troye's sister and she smiled.
"He just got home and locked himself in his room.. He needs you.." She hugged me back.
"And I need him too.." I replied and she smiled.
"Ahhhhh Connah good to have you back! I don't know what is wrong with Troye but he went to his room immediately.." Laurelle said and I looked down.
"Can I.. Talk to him?" I asked and she nodded.

Here goes nothing.

One knock.

"Leave me alone Sage!" Troye yelled.

"What Sage? I'm fi-" He opened the door and stood there motionless.
"Connor.." He said looking at me and wiping his tears and fixing his messy hair.
"Troye.." I said embracing him in a hug.
"Why.. Why are you here?" He whispered in my ear.
"Because friends won't love you like I do.." I replied wiping his tears.
"Fuck it.." He said and smashed our lips together.

And friends shouldn't kiss me like you do. And I know that there's a limit to everything. But my friends won't love me like you. No, my friends won't love me like you do. Oh, my friends will never love me like you.
