"Ode to love"

It’s sweet and mellow

A fragrant red rose

Melting and smooth

Like red-velvet moose

It wraps around,

Such warmth,

Wool blanket in the cold.

A cuddle here and there,

Like a snuggle with puppies fur.

You see pink, red and whites.

But it’s not valentines.

A flash, a burst

See the fireworks.

So full of wonder and color.

Exotic taste, overrun palate.

Heart beat brisk, cheeks pink

Sweet embrace,

A loving stare

Whispered words,

Secret for spies

Flowing and flying in the air.

A smile, a laugh

Ringing chiming bells

Love is in the air.
