Chapter three

The rest of the world was in black and white . But we were in streaming color -t.s

It was Monday. Second week of school finally Emma felt better then the days past .  She brushed her hair and her teeth. Then she quickly put on jeans and a 5sos shirt and ran to catch her bus.  She was always almost missing it and that would be bad because grandmother doesn't  own a car .

The bus came and Emma found a seat next to the blonde girl who showed her around before. Ruthie

"Hey why weren't you here " ruthie

"Oh I caught a cold. "- Emma said stiffly

"You missed a lot of work. I can stop by your house after school to help you "- ruthie

And this was the beginning of a great friendship

Ruthie came over later that day to show Emma what she had missed. Grandmother was ecstatic .

The girls just laughed . Emma filled out all of the worksheets. Then grandmother invited ruthie to stay for dinner.
Since grandmother had just started cooking, the girls went into Emma's room.

Ruthie loved the Taylor swift posters.
"What's This " Ruthie asked looking at her desk.
It was a letter from Nancy from a month ago.

"That used to be my friend but now your my friend "- Emma rose

Then Emma showed ruthie a cool hairstyle with braiding. Ruthie loved it

The girls were called to dinner soon after. Tonight was steak and chicken pot pies.
"Yum "

Emma woke up at a reasonable time and actually was excited for school. Ruthie was gonna come after and spend the night. The girls were becoming best friends. And that was good from Emma. Now she had someone and wasn't so lonely

Emma was so excited when it was finally the end of the school day.  Ruthie came over with a pink Polk a dot bag filled with a sleeping bag and goodies.

First the girls had a epic dance party to Taylor swift , Carrie underwood and 5 seconds of summer.  

Then they changed into there pjs. Emma had a light purple nightgown , ruthie had a  pink top and zebra print shorts .

"Dinner "called grandma

For dinner they had spaghetti . And for dessert the girls baked some chocolate cupcakes.
Oh my gosh I love chocolate " ruthie shouted.

"Hmmm what movie should we watch " - Emma rose

" I love the sound of music "- responded ruthie

"Me to "- Emma

The girls danced along with the musical. 
After all that it was only 8 :30
So the girls decided it was time to pop out the candy and pull a movie marathon.

In ruthies  bag she had snuck some chocolate , marshmallows and star bursts from her house.

" what movie next " - ruthie

" what about fame and Annie "

The girls ended up falling asleep in there sleeping bags at 12 am and waking up about 10 am

Emma showed ruthie all her nail polish and the girls did nails
Ruthie with soft pink
And Emma with bright blue.

" bacon and cinnamon rolls " called grandma declaring breakfast.

Emma decided This was the best day ever
