The adventures of Emma rose

Chapter 5

Emma rose was sitting in her room ,on the Internet looking at Halloween costume ideas.  She was thinking maybe a flapper girl or a bumble bee. But what ever it was she had to make it look spectacular.
Ruthie was gonna be princess bubble gum
And Lucy would be Annie Oakley from her favorite movie :Annie get your gun

The best friends would be trick or treating in Emma's  new neighborhood.
And Emma was very excited. But also alittle worried she wouldn't have her costume ready.

"Dinner " called grandma downstairs

"Oh alright " Emma said reluctantly. She wanted to search some more

After Dinner , Emma went back up to her room to email her old friend Nancy and see what she was going as.

To Emma
Hey it's me Nancy
For Halloween I'm gonna be Katniss from the hunger games.
Bye bye for now

And then Emma thought of the perfect idea. She would be from the 70s

"Yes that would be awesome " she yelled face-timing Ruthie .

Emma walked to the bus stop Friday morning so excited to share her grand idea

" hey wanna go shopping after school for Halloween stuff. I really need a pink wig and a yellow crown for my costume. "-ruthie

So after school ruthie and Emma meet up at ruthies house.
And the girls went to the Len ville mall right down the street. Thankfully

At the mall they found a tye dye shirt , some bell bottoms and a peace sighn necklace at the thrift store.
Then the girls went into fandom happy
A store where you could find many things from fandoms
Harry Potter , 5sauce , anime , nirvana , adventure time and my little pony filled the shelfs

Quickly ruthie spotted a pink dress , a long dark pink wig. And a yellow crown from the princess bubble gum section.

Now the girls bought matching blue bags for trick or treating and they didn't forget about Lucy.

Halloween night
4 o'clock pm
Emma's new apartment

Emma was putting on her outfit and looked into the mirror. It was missing something.
She needed to braid her hair in different sections.
There we go - she thought.

Quickly her friends arrived.

First was lucy
She wore a pair of cow girl boots , a cow girl hat and a dress that looked Native American.
And of course a copy of the movie beacuse Lucy's pet peeve was not having anyone know what she was

Then came ruthie in her pink dress , pink lipstick and pink eye shadow. And of course her pink wig .

Emma smiled and distributed the bags she has bought for her friends

Dinner - called grandmother

The girls scarfed down some burgers and put on there shoes

" I'm letting you walk alone this year. " grandmother said and the girls cheered.

They ran out the door and headed to there first destination

Legends had it mrs briar was candy crazy and gave out a ton of big candy bars.
This was defientally an important stop

"Hello little girls " an old woman said poking out a door.

She gave the girls each two big candy bars and the girls stuffed them into the bags and ran to the next house

The girls giggled and laughed. And they got tons of candy

Back at the apartment the girls lay there candy out in piled ready to trade.

" twix. That's mine "
" bubble gum for a nutter butter"
"Yuck candy corn "
"Oooooo lucky. You got kit Kats"

Emma decided this was a successful and eventful Halloween
Later she typed to her friends

Ya know. I'm starting to like this place. I thought it was be all lonely and sad. But me and my new friends had the time of our lives tonight. Maybe your reading this. Maybe your not ? But all I know is that this is becoming home

And I honestly didn't know much about this character until I googled her. But I had fun researching
