Hey guys! I am sick still... I'm so sad. Anyway I hope you enjoy this chapter.

It's been a week since we signed up for plays. In each play I signed up for I got a really good part.

Lion King- Banzai
Grease- Pink Lady
Nightmare before Christmas- The Mayor
Footloose- Ariel
Swan Lake- Odette
Into The Woods- Cinderella

I'm really excited for the Lion King and Into The Woods. I can't wait. Tonight is the interviews and we have rehearsal today and tomorrow then its time for The Games. I'm getting ready for rehearsal for Footloose. I reach the stage and see Travis who plays Ren(the main character). He also plays Ed in The Lion King. We start to practice Footloose, the song.

NOW I GOTTA CUT LOOSE, FOOTLOOSE!

We all scream the last Footloose and start laughing. Footloose is going to rock. Now, I have to go to Into The Woods. We are working on my solo. Cole Truesdale plays the prince. We don't really know each other, so its awkward. He is frozen and I'm singing

Alex
He's a very nice prince
A prince who prepares
Who knew I'd run from him
So he spread pitch on the stairs
And I'm caught unawares
So that means that he...cares

A guard chasing after Cole while there are frozen sneezes and falls knocking Cole down, who knocks me off the stage. "I'm so sorry Alex!" Cole says while helping me up. "I'm fine." I reply. Our instructor says we can leave, so we do. I have to practice Grease now, which is hard, because we slide on our knees a lot and it hurts. All the boys are practicing Greased Lightning. It's hilarious. Justin fell on his face and Travis fell off the car. He plays Danny. The main character. It really suits him.
Anyway, the director says girls can leave,but the rest of the boys have to stay. Eleanor pulls me away. "Choe wants to work with you. Right now. Everyone else is leaving too." I go on the elevator and its just pure boredrum. I finally get to my floor and get whisked away by Choe. "Dress first as usual." He says. He grabs a white dress with blue sparkles. "I hate it. It looks like a unicorn puked and rolled in it. Next he grabs a red dress. It has some sort of sleeves with a giant hole on the neck, it's really pretty. "Yes! This one." I put it on and he does my make-up. It looks like fire. My hair is in a bun. I look really pretty.
Two hours later, all the tributes are waiting for the show to start. We hear Scotts laughing and talking to the head gamemaker and the president. The president walks off the stage and everyone bows their head except me. I know she wants to talk. She motions me to follow her. I do. "Well, Miss Shakespear, are you ready for tonight?"
"Yes."
"More uprisings have happened. Everyone thinks that you are perfect, because you volunteered."
"How am I perfect because of that?" She scoffs then says.
"Alex, you have a lot to learn. Please make me proud." Then she walks away. Districts 1-4 have already gone on stage. I wait until Travis goes on stage and then I'm being lead to the stage. I see Travis. He's in dress shoes, black pants, a lavender dress shirt and a black tie. He looks really hot. Then Scotts is calling my name. Travis and I do a fist bump. "Hello, Alex." Scotts says while trying to give me a fist bump, but I give him a high five instead. "Alex, how have you liked the Actor Games rehearsals so far?"
"There's nothing much to say. I mean we dance, sing, try new things, there's nothing to really say."
"Sure there is. Passing that since you won't answer. How is your sister?"
"I don't know. She's in 12, and I'm here. I can't really walk over there and say hi and ask how she's doing."
"Awe yes, but would you leave the Capitol to see your sister again?"
"Umm, duh. She's my sister and I'm always going to be there to protect her."
"You said always, does that mean you think your going to win?"
"No, I don't think I'm going to win, but until then, I will always be there." I look at the crowd and see some of the crowd crying.
"That's the sweetest thing I've heard all night." I smile. We hear a beep signaling my time is up. I walk off on stage and Justin walks on. I run to the elevator and watch from there. "Justin! Its a pleasure to see you."
"You too!" They both laugh.
"How's rehearsal going for you?"
"Fine."
"Fine? That's all we get! Your just like Alex." Scotts laugh while Justin laughs nervously.
"Well, it's really fun. I love all the singing. I help paint sets."
"Hmm, ok." Its silent. "Do you like Alex?"
"Like love like, or friend like?"
"Doesn't matter." Scotts winks at the crowd. This is what I want to hear.
"She's nice, we've had our differences."
"Like what?"
"Well, we got into a fight." A lot of oohs went throw the crowd.
"Was it bad?"
"No, just a few punches thrown by me one by her. Otherwise it was my fault." He just lied. He lied to the country. He lied to protect me, he lied to make me win.
"So are you saying your dangerous?"
"No. I'm not I'm saying it was my fault, but she punched me first, she missed though, but then she sidekicked me." Again, a lie. The timer beeps and Justin leaves the stage. I get off the elevator. 10 minutes later, so does Justin. "Thanks." I say.
"Your welcome." I go to my room and take a shower and go to bed. Tomorrows the games and I'm nervous as heck.

This was a shorter chapter. Btw the picture is her dress. I love it. I'm so sorry this is late, some of you are probably really mad, but idc. I hope you are listening to the soundtrack.
