Please don't hate me! I know I haven't updated in a while. I've been really busy. I hope you enjoy this!
The first task. I'm nervous. I see Scotts handing us all an envelope. It has our task, partner, and hideout in it. The hideout is where we stay. I get handed my envelope. I open it.
TASK:
Perform a song from a musical
PARTNER:
Travis
HIDE OUT:
In the moutainsTravis, yay! We all are lead to tubes. We have a cornucopia, that I plan to run to. We can't kill, but we can tackle. The cornucopia has basic needs like water, food, clothes, blankets, etc. I get pushed up. It's really bright. I see the mountains, but not Travis. 10, go straight to the cornucopia
9. Find Travis
8, find cabin in mountains
7, work hard
6, practice, practice
5, be first ones done
4, win
3, see Juliet again
2, I can do this
1, that's do this
The timer goes off and I sprint to the center. I'm the first one there and grab two backpacks, a cooler, and rope. Hopefully Travis got good stuff. I see Travis and he smiles. We run straight towards the snowy mountains. Oh no, it's going to be cold and I didn't get a jacket. I have a sweatshirt on, I should be fine. I see Travis through the trees. He has two backpacks, a satchel, a cooler, and a hat on his head. We keep running and before we know it we reach the base of the mountain and I see the cabin. "Do we actually have to climb this?" He asks. "We don't have jackets." I start jogging up it and he follows.
My shoes aren't equipped for this, but his are. Suddenly I slip. I scream. "Travis!" We are really high and I'm hanging of a cliff. He grabs my hand and pulls me up. When I get up I feel a sharp pain in my leg. I see a Hugh gash in my thigh. I wince in pain, but keep jogging, staying away from the cliff. We reach the cabin and head inside. It has bunk beds. I throw my two backpacks on the top bunk and put the cooloer on the floor. The cabin has a heater, a table and two chairs, the rest is open space. He puts his bags on the bed too. We both open our coolers. "I got two bottles of water, one juice box, cheese, beef-jerkey, strawberries, and four apples." He says. "I have two bottles of water, bagels, beef-jerkey, cookies, and pears. So not a lot, unless we have other food in the bags." I say. I go to my bed and take my two back packs while he puts all the food away. The first bag has a black T-shirt, a black long-sleeved shirt, jeans, yogapants, crackers, ponytails, a pencil and notepad, and socks. I throw the crackers at Travis and open the second bag. It has two blankets, one thick and one thin, a sweatshirt, rope, another water bottle, and a flashlight. His bags have the same things except the satchel. It has a flashlight, a watch, pens and paper, and an apple. The watch says its 9:33pm, I'm really tired and so is Travis. We turn on the heater and crawl into bed. Tomorrow we start working and hopefully tomorrow we get better supplies.Sorry this is late! Y'all should checkout my Author Games book and reserve a tribute. I hope you liked this boring chapter. It was kind of short.
