The Actor Games

Not A Date

Everyone performs, while we watch. I don't know why but this is always how the Actor Games start, they send tributes in the middle of nowhere, but then it becones dangerous, si we are seny back to the capital. "Everyone listen. The judges are voting w people off. They will spin the wheel and that will decide their fate. The first person is....." After watching the games so many years, i know they are showing half of our faces on the camera. "Pitinia Sid." She spuns the wheel. It lands on mime. "Ah, you shall become a mime. Anyways the last person is..... Sabrina Hamlet. Due to your injuries, we have decided to cut you off and since you sphn the wheel....it landed on mime." She is about to cry. I don't care though, i didnt like either of them.
Im just upset that Jordan and Taylor didnt get cut off. I mean they couldve killed me. "Alright so we have decided to continue The Actor Games in the Capitol due to several incidents. The plane will be here soon. Mimes stay here, you can not say goodbye." I hug Travis. Im so happy i survived. "Alex stop worrying, with a voice like yours, you'll be here until the end. " i blush. "Same for you kid. " i say as i punch him playfully in the shoulder. I'm so happy to be surviving another day.

I run out of the plane the moment it lands. Travis following. "That was a horrible flight" He states. I nod my head in agreement. Two people lead us off. "Wait! Alex, dinner at 6?"

"See you there." He smiles and skips off with the guards. I turn around and see Choe. "CHOE!" He laughs as i hug him. "Make me pretty again. I look like a mess. My hair is disgusting and i have a huge cut on my leg." He laughs again. "I'll see what i can do, at 8 you have interviews about the first task."

"Well umm at 6, i kinda am having dinner with Travis at the restaurant."

"Well I'll work fast. For your date-"

"Its not a date."

"Okay, for your outing. We'll just put you in jeans and a pretty shirt."

"Works for me! And the interviews?"

"Ill work on that while your on your date."

"ITS NOT A DATE."

I'm wearing a plaid shirt, jeans, boots, and my hair is in a ponytail. "Have fun." Eleanor says. I get onto the elevator, which got fixed and it goes pretty fast. I reach the restaurant and see Travis in a plaid shirt and jeans too. We burst out laughing. One of the faculty members takes a picture of us to put in the Actor Games slideshow at the end of the games, where all the participants come together again and watch it all. Unless they're dead. We sit down and order mozzarella sticks, cheese curds, and chicken tenders. "Well this is fun." Travis says while theres a silence. "Sorry, im just enjoying this food." I grin. I shove a bunch of cheese curds in my mouth and say "SEE!" But its muffled and Travis just laughs.
We finish eating at 6:45. "Sorry Travis, with interviews tonight i can't have dessert. It takes a while for me to get ready."

"That's fine, I'll just ride the elevator with you to your floor, it won't take that long to get ready." We run in the elevator and i guess it's broken again, cuz it's going extra slow.

"Well tonight was really fun, it felt like a date, but it wasn't." He adds. "It could've been." I say quietly and Travis slowly leans in and gently touches my cheek and i close my eyes and i feel his hot breath on me when suddenly the elevator door opens and we pull apart and we see Hazel Boudinout. "Oh my gosh, am i interrupting something? I can get on later. I am so sorry." I blush and the door closes.

"Now where were we."
