Last night was awesome! Singing and dancing and eating and hanging out with Travis and friends. I wake up to Stacy. "Miss, Justin would like to speak to you."
"Tell him, he can talk to the wall."
"Alright."
She nods and closes the door. I get out of bed and put in the clothes that we all have to wear. I wall out of my room and Justin is waiting for me. "Alex, listen."
"Talk to the hand." I say.
"No, I'm talking to you."
"No your not. Your going to shut your face and leave me alone."
"Never. I just have a question. What's your deal with that Travis kid?" It hit me like a bullet. He's asking about Travis. "We're friends. Why do you even care."
"Because I don't trust him."
"That's your opinion, not mine. Now leave me alone I don't want to talk to you anymore."
I storm away and down the stairs to the elevator , to get to the restaurant. The elevator stops on District 11's floor and Travis walks on. "Hey Alex."
"Hi."
"Where are you going?"
"The restaurant. You?"
"Same." He says while grinning.
We get to the restaurant and sit down on an empty table. I order pancakes with extra whipped cream and hot chocolate. He orders the same. "So, Travis are you excited about the parade?" I ask him.
"I guess. It was never my favorite part of the games."
"Same. I liked the interviews."
"I wonder what the punishments are this year?"
"Ugh, don't remind me."
Each year they have these punishments if you get voted off or of people give you bad reviews on your show. One year someone got burned. Some years they are bad others aren't. Our food arrives and we dig in. He puts his finger in my whipped cream and gives me a mustache with it. I giggle and do the same to him. He licks it off and I do the same. We finish eating and leave. "I'll see you later at the parade." He says
"Ok." He gets off at his floor and I get off on mine. "Alex! Choe is waiting for you in your room." Stacy says. I nod and run up the stairs. "Choe?" I call out. "I'm in your room Alex." I run to my room.
He sees me and motions me to sit in a chair. "First we will pick your dress, then is your hair, then make-up, then nails and finally shoes." He tells me. The first dress he pulls out is red and short. All I see is sparkle on the top-half. "Umm, Choe. I'm not a disco ball." I say. He laughs and puts the dress back. The next dress is long, the bottom part is pink and the chest part is silver and it has a black belt. "To much pink." I say. The next dress is long again and its gorgeous. It's black and aqua, it has a little sparkle, but not to much." To be determined pile!" I say happily. He chuckles. The next dress is black. Just black. It has sleeves down to the elbows. It's short and very pretty. "No." I say. The next dress is short and pretty. The skirt is black and the test is white. The sleeves are white lace." No."
"This is the last dress."
He pulls out a blue and white dress. It's drop dead gorgeous. The skirt is a dark/pale shade of blue and it has a shade of blue belt. The top part is a really pale shade of blue with white lace and long-sleeves. "Choe, this is the dress." I hardly breathe out. He gives it to me and I pull it on. It fits me perfectly. All my curves just melt in with it. He does my hair in a bun and adds sequins in it. My make-up is white and black. My nails are white with a tint of blue. I'm wearing black heels. When Choe finishes, he leads me to the living room. Justin is already there with a black suit and a dark blue tie. Eleanor then takes us to the elevator. "I hops you know what the parade is." She says.
"Duh." Justin says.
"Don't say that again."
Its silent the rest of the way.The Tribute Parade isn't really a parade its more like walking down a red carpet, get your pictures taken, talking to Scotts, signing autographs. You get the jist. We reach the lobby and see all the tributes and all the stylists her already. I see Travis, but he doesn't see me. Elana does though. "OMG! Alex you look like a model." She says. "You don't say so yourself." We laugh and talk. She's wearing a sleeveless melonish color dress that has a lot of sparkle. A few minutes later Actor Keepers take her away, so we can get in line. Taylor Marks is already walking out. So is Jackson and the Hamlets. When it's my turn to walk out, I smile at Choe and thank him. Then I walk out onto the carpet. I hear screams and cameras clicking. I smile and wave, but keep walking. Travis sees me and walks over. "I love this now." He whispers. I laugh. "So do I." We link arms and keep walking. He leaves to go talk to Scotts. All they do is laugh. Then it's my turn. "Hello Alex! You look gorgeous."
"Right back at you." He laughs.
"Now,your stylist is amazing. Who is it?" He asks me.
"Choe Greene."
"Never heard of him." We laugh and I look nervously at Choe who is laughing.
"Any other questions for me Scotts? We have all day or you can stand here laughing." He laughs but then answers.
"Not that I know of. I hope to see you soon at the interviews." I smile and walk to where we give autographs. I sign at least four, then Justin comes and he starts talking to me. "I'm sorry Alex."
"Can we talk about this later?" I say through clenched teeth." He nods and walks away, I finish signing autographs and make my way back to the hotel. Rehearsal time. I get back to my floor put my uniform on and decide to keep my hair and make-up on. I ride the elevator and reach the training floor. There aren't that many tributes here yet. "Hi! I'm Cassandra the Rehearsal Director. You need to go sign up for at least six of the tweleve plays we will perform when the games start. We have six weeks to perfect it. The schedule was updated. Have fun!" Then she walks off. Ok then. I look at the sheets. Each district has one based off of their studies. You just don't know which district is which, sometimes one district might not even have a play.

The Lion King: The Musical
Aladdin
The Nutcracker
Swan Lake
Romeo and Juliet
Into The Woods
Shrek The Musical
Footloose
Grease
Hairspray
Les Misérables
The Nightmare Before Christmas

We have to sign up for six or more so I sign up for The Lion King, Swan Lake, Into The Woods, Footloose, Grease, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. It says we get our scripts tomorrow and the Directors for each play read who signed up and they assign the parts. We don't audition. Cassandra says if we signed up we can leave so I do. I'm going to drop on my knees I'm so tired. I change into pajamas and curl up in my bed. I can't wait until tomorrow.

Hi! I absolutely love this chapter. THAT DRESS THOUGH!! I love it so much. In my Theatre program I do for school, I was in The Nightmare Before Christmas. I recently tried out for Footloose The Musical so I'm very excited about that! The next chapter might be a little boring, but who knows I'm UNPREDICTABLE. -Mary
