(Franklin's P.O.V.)

We ate some canned corn and some chips we found in the kitchen.Since we didn't really like those infected people smelling the delicious smell of meat.

We were all in the living room,eating in awkward silence.I still couldn't process everything in my mind yet.

I mean,how could everything go south in one day?

"Uhh hey guys?"Therese asked all of us shyly.

"Yeah?"Joe replied.

"We didn't really officially met,uhh I'm Therese...Therese Olandria"She said as she extends her hand.

"I'm Joe Mosquera"Joe said as he shakes her hand.

"And I'm Rick Grimes"Franco said,imitating Rick's voice.

We laugh at his joke.

"Well nice to meet you Mr.Rick"Therese said while smiling.

"Just kidding,I'm Franco Miguel"Franco said to her.

She nodded as we all sit in a circle in the middle of the living room.

"I'm Franklin"I said as I smiled at her.

After some chat about each other,it was time to rest.

We barred the windows and barricaded the doors.

We all agreed to sleep in the living room.Therese was on the couch since she was a girl,while us boys sleep on the floor.

(12:47 A.M.)

Everyone was asleep.

Except me.

"I mean,I still couldn't imagine how this day happened."

"And the reporter said that it was spreading across the world."

"Would we be safe?"

"Would we even survive that long until the cure is made?"

I felt my eyes slowly closing.

The next thing I knew it was already morning.
