Teen Problems(A Post-Apocalyptic Story)

Just another normal day

*Franklin's P.O.V.*

(Monday)

*alarm rings*

...

I yawned as i looked at the clock...

"7:34 A.M."

I read as I stretch and got out of my bed.I took a bath and changed to my school uniform(it's a white long sleeves polo and a black necktie)

I walked around my small bedroom,trying to find where i put my bag.

"man,I gotta start cleaning my room"I said as I admire my organized mess.

"At last!"I said proudly as I found my bag and held it up in the air like the lion king.

I passed by my big mirror near my door.I took one last look at my outfit"oh yeah!"i smiled at my appearance.

(Going to school)

Everything was actually normal,except for one thing...

While I was riding a taxi,I heard something odd in the radio.

"Can you please turn up the volume?"

I said to the driver.

"sure thing sir"

he said.

He then turned up the volume enough so I could hear clearly.

"...as it spreads.Reports say that the virus has already spread across the United States and some parts of Asia...people infected of the virus seems to have high cravings of non-infected people.Reports also said that one man took a chunk of another man's arm.the virus seems to show symptoms like headache,severe diarrhea,redness of eyes,dizziness and high fever.To anyone that shows any of these symptoms,seek medical help immediately..."

"What the hell does that mean?"

the driver said as he turned down the volume of the radio.

"I don't know,must be some kind of virus"

I said in a low and serious voice.

"well it's certainly not good news"he said worriedly.

(In school)

I was walking in the hallway,nearing my classroom.I still can't stop thinking about what i heard in the radio.

"Franklin!hey!"

I heard someone calling me from behind.

"Joe!"

I said happily to my bestfriend.

"yo bro!"

he said as he lifts his hand up to bump my fist"Brofist"as we bumped each other's fist.we walked to our classroom,while we were talking about some random stuff.

We sat down next to each other since our teacher allows us to sit anywhere we want.We then went on with our class.

(In the middle of class)

"...so you need to add 5 and 7,what is the differ..."

ms.Julia,the teacher was discussing Math.I was sitting near the window,while Joe sat beside me.Man,he does sleep alot.

"Franklin..."

someone whispered behind me.

"Oh Franco!what is it?"

I replied to my jolly other bestfriend.

"I gotta tell you something"

he said slowly like what he's gonna say is very important.

"well what is it?"

I said curiously.He leaned in closer to me.

"I..uhh I think Im gonna poop"

he said embarrassingly.

"what!!?"

i was laughing so hard,I didn't know everyone was looking at me.

"Mr.Franklin,be silent or I will be forced to send you out"

Ms.Julie said calmly.

"Sorry Ms.Julia,Franco just needs to go to the restroom"

I said trying to hold in my laughter.

"well there's no need to laugh Mr.Franklin.okay Mr.Franco,you may go"she said.

"but Ms.Julia,can I bring Franklin with me?"

he said shyly.

"what?no no no,I don't wanna smell your miracles!"

I said while faking a worried face.

"okay Mr. Franco,you may bring him with you"

Ms.Julia said.

Joe was already awake and was also holding in his laughter.

"alright,fine"

I said while pouting.
