Teen Problems(A Post-Apocalyptic Story)

All Things Come To An End.

*Franklin's P.O.V.*

A couple of months have passed since Franco's incident.

We let Angelica and Luc in our group for good.

They have been a great help so far.

But all good thing has an end.

*That day*

Luc and I were talking outside about the increasing number of infected people passing by our home.

"Makeshift spears and barbed wires aren't gonna keep them from getting in,you know?"Luc said,looking at the improvised fence we built.

"I know.We may need to move out soon."I sadly said.

He nodded.

"Therese and Angelica are already super close to each other."I said.

"Yeah,she didn't really have that many friends at school"He replied.

We talked for a bit,then we went inside.

Joe and Franco were on the couch,playing poker.

I could tell Franco was losing,since he tried to signal me to look at Joe's cards.

I gave him a salute as I walk by him.

He gave me a "WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?!"kind of look.

I laughed as I went to the kitchen to make myself a sandwich.

We still have a considerable amount of supplies.

We cleared almost everything that was inside of the grocery store.

I took a bite out of my sandwich as I walk back towards the living room.

Luc was laughing beside Joe as Franco stands up and starts dancing like a fish.

"Yeah make it rain!"Joe yelled as he takes a deck of cards and throws them one by one to Franco.

I laugh as I watch Franco humiliate himself.

Therese and Angelica came down and were laughing so hard when They saw Franco dancing.

Franco turned red as he throws his arms in the air.

"Alright I'm done!"He said,annoyed by Luc and Joe laughter.

Therese looked at him and gave him a thumbs up.

He replied with a wink.

They have been secretly dating,i think.

Everytime we ask them,They're always like "Nah,we're just close friends"

But I'm really happy for them.

Joe's been best buddies with Luc and I've been getting along with Angelica.

*Narrator*

Franklin and His gang were finally happy in their "safe haven".

Until it was suppertime...

*7:12 P.M.*

We were happily eating and talking around a small table in the kitchen.

Therese and Angelica were talking about 'GIRL STUFF' while Luc and Joe were talking about video games.

I just sat there,observing them.It was happy.I was happy.

Then...

We heard the backgate break and Three infected people bursts through the door!

They somehow,managed to break the backdoor.

"Oh my gosh!Infected!"Therese yelled.

I quickly took my sword,ran to it and hit it as hard as I could.

It's head split into two as black goo emerged from it.Blood spattered on the walls and on the floor.

I glanced to my side as another infected had his eyes on me.

Joe ran beside me and stabbed the infected person that was lunging towards me.

"Thanks Joe!"I said as Franco and Luc joined us.

We locked on to the last infected person,Joe ran and kicked the it in the chest,I hear a cracking sound as It falls and roll over twice from that strong kick.

It stood up as if it wasn't even kicked.

Joe withdraws as it was Franco's turn.

Franco runs and hits his head,but couldn't bash its skull.

Franco steps back as Luc aims his handgun at its head.

BANG!

The gun fires and barely hits it's head.It fell back,almost DEAD dead.

I walked to it as I slice its head clean off it's shoulder.

I cover my nose with my shirt as I look around my friends,all covered in smelly liquid.

The house was a mess.Blood and corpses were everywhere.

"How did they get in?"Angelica asked as she grips Therese's hand.

Joe ran to the window,His eyes widen.

"We gotta go now!"He yells as I run to look what he saw.

More infected people were coming.They must've heard the gunshot.

All of us ran to the car parked out front of the house.Adrenaline pumping through my veins.

I look back to see my house one last time.

Infected people were swarming my house.Groaning and limping around my home.

I wipe my tear as I hopped into the minivan.

Everyone was already in it as I sped away from "Safe haven".
