*??? P.O.V.*

"Quite a clear sky tonight"

I thought to myself as I sit on the roof of the house I was staying in,looking at the endless amount of stars twinkling in the night sky

My almond-dark brown hair flying with the cool night breeze.

"There's nothing in this world that is worth risking anymore, just an endless cycle of death"

I sigh as I look far at the once lively city, now a place of nightmares.

I like to imagine that people were not infected.

That they would just be normal people, living their lives.

Seeing friends, going to work, all the stuff that was took for granted, now a fantasy that will never happen.

I sigh as I lie down to rest.

I was slowly drifting asleep when I heard a faint car engine sound.

I quickly got up as I took my crossbow from my dark green backpack.

I ran downstairs and observed it through the window.

I saw a silver minivan slowly pull up at the gunshop just across the house I was in.

"Hmm,must be looters"I thought as I continue to observe.

A bit after the car pulled up,a group of young people got off. They looked exhausted and they were covered in dark liquid.

I count four guys and two girls. They all look like they were at the same age as me.

"They've been throught it rough, huh?"I said to myself, not surprised.

Everybody's got it rough.

I walk back to the rooftop and locked the stairway door.

I lie down in my little makeshift bed.

I closed my eyes as I drift off into sleep.

(The next morning)

"They're still here"

I thought to myself as I notice the silver minivan was still there.

I geared up and started to walk down.

I slowly made my down and out.

I made my way to the gunshop, peeking through the window.

"No sign of 'em,maybe they're upstairs."I said.

"Just let them be"I thought to myself as I turn around to leave.

Now I'm not anti-social,trust me.

But there are some horrible people out there.

*flashback*

"Nooo!"I yell as I try to stop him from pulling the trigger.

He held a gun in her head and he was grinning, like a madman.

I begged and pleaded to spare her life.

But all he did was laugh. My seven year old sister, crying for help.

He gripped his gun and with one swift move,he shot my sister in the head.

Gunshot ran through my ear as I watched him laughing as he dropped my sister and walked away.

'NOOO!"I yelled as I try to escape from the chair I was tied in.

I try to squeeze my hand through the tight ropes.
