Broken and Bruised

Chapter 3

As i woke up, i turned to see a familiar face. I got scared for a minute until i figured out what had happened and remembering the kiss. I was broke out of my thoughts when Harley said,"Hey beautiful"and kissed me.

  "Hey sexy. How'd you sleep", i asked.

  "Great because i had you next to me", he said reconnecting our lips for what just felt like a second

    "Awe", I said.

    "So what do you want to do today?", he asked.

    "Don't we have school?", i asked raising my eyebrow.

    "What's school?", he said sarcastically.

      "Well, won't we get in trouble?", I asked him.

       "We might, but who cares. Come on it will be fun", he started but was cut off by a knock on the door.

        "Hold on", Harley said as he got up and walked over to the door to unlock it.

        "Hey, I'm going to school and mom and dad aren't home yet. So if I'm not home by the time they get back tell them that I am spending the night at Nathan's", Juli stated then walke out of the room to prepare for school like we should be doing.

         "Ok. Bye", Harley said slamming the door in her face.

          "She seems nice", I said not trying to be awkward.

         "She can be", he said walking over to me.

         "Like you?", I questioned smirking.

         "Sure", he said as he kissed me.

         "So where are we going today?", I asked.

          "Just come on", Harley said tugging on my hand and soon we were out the door walking down the driveway.

         "Where are we", I asked him looking around at the trees.

         "I need to tell you something. But you can't get mad at me. Promise?", he said.

         "Your sister and your mom weren't killed by what you think", he said. I felt faint; I didn't understand what he was saying.

          "What- what do you mean?", I asked.

          "You need to sit down", he said and I did.

           "Explain.", I spoke.

           "They were killed my kanima. Haven't you ever felt like there was more to you than just being human? Cait you're not human", Harley spoke.

           "What the hell; you can't just prance into my life and tell me some fake story of my sister and my mother dying.",i pushed him away. I didn't want to believe him.

          "A kanima is a type of supernatural creature. They will try to kill you every chance they get. My friends, Scott, Lydia, Malia, Stiles, and some others can help you. They're like you", Harley said.

          "How?", I asked.

          "Just come on", he said grabbing my hand and running.
