"Darcy's pov."

"Hello?" His voice answers.

"Hey Babe!" I greet, and I hear a 'shh' through the phone, causing me to chuckle.

"Hi, Honey." He says, finally.

"What are you boy's up to?" I ask.

"Umm song-writing." He replies.

"Oh, don't suppose you could spare a few minutes to come with me to try on dresses?" I ask, doubtfully.

"Sorry Honey, you know I can't." He says, wistfully.

"I know. I love you." I say, my voice sounding clipped.

"I love you too, so much." He says, causing me to smile.

"Bye, Babe." I say.

"Bye, Darling." He says, and we hang up.

I set my phone down, and click shuffle on my favourites playlist.

" So your friends been telling me you've been sleeping with my sweater,

and that you can't stop missing me.
