"Darcy's pov"
I sigh smiling contently as I pull up beside my work building, my Dad pulling up about 2 seconds later. I smirk and pull my helmet off, hanging it on the handles, and putting out my kick-stand. I feel myself gulp, out of nerves, this is the first time he's seen me dance, well, unless he stayed at the CH awards, but I'm not sure. We haven't really spent that much time together, since we well, made up...
"Long time no see!" My Dad sarcastically remarks.
"Very, whatever will we do?" I joke back, and he laughs too.
"So this is my safe-haven, literally my second home" I smile, and he does too, doing the whole 'once over' thing.
"So pop question, since they haven't seen you in a bit, can I invite Lou and El here?" My Dad asks, and my stomach knots.
"Sure." I say.
"If you want, I can get my duet partners to come dance with me, we don't have to follow that schedule." I say, and he grins.
"Sure."
"Well, come on in."

"Hey!" I exclaim as my Aunt and Uncle walk in.
"DARCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" My uncle yells, and I laugh as he spins me in circles.
"Hi" I say between giggles, as he sets me down.
I reach over and hug my aunt, only to have my uncle hug me from behind.
"Just let me go grab my shoes." I say, and they nod, making no motion NOT to follow me.
"My Dad's in practice room "F", it's the biggest." I say, and point at it, though they still follow me.
"Okay here is my room, come in if you want." I say, and again they follow. I realize that it's probably because they aren't comfortable.
I grab my hair brush, and brush my hair back, securing it with an elastic, after-words I pin it into a bun, and hair-spray it quickly.
"You do that so effortlessly " My aunt says, causing me to shrug.
"I've been doing my own hair for dance for almost... 11 years. With a few short breaks of course." I say, and her mouth drops.
"11?"
"11" I confirm.
"Wow" She mutters and I nod, as I tie my point shoes.
I grab my jazz shoes, my tap shoes, and my toe-pads too. As I walk out, I nod to the secretary, and walk into my practice room. As my Dad greets Lou and El, I plug my I-pod into the speakers, and I start to stretch.
"Hey, Darcy?" A voice says, and I look up to see my Dad looking between me and the door curiously.
I stand up, and walk to the door, shutting it turning to see Emerson standing there.
"Hey, Emerson." I say, smiling.
"Hey Darcy" He says smiling back.
"Whats up?" I ask, curious as to why he's here.
"Just wondering if you want to do coffee tomorrow?" He asks, and I calculate my schedule in my head.
"What time?"
"Around 4:30?" He asks, and I smirk.
"Sure, Starbucks down-town?" I ask, and he nods.
"See you there." I add.
"See you." He says and walks the other way.
I open up the door, and walk in only to have my Uncle Lou stumble to stand fast.
"Who was that?" He asks, and I quietly chuckle, seeing my Dad and El in a heated conversation.
"An old... Pen-pal." I settle on saying, and he nods, not convinced.
"I swear." I add, and he smirks.
"Sure" He says, dragging out the 'e'.
"Whatever." I mutter as I go and click play on my I-pod and resume stretching.
