"Darcy's pov."

I sigh, as I exit the studio.
11:30 AM, I guess I won't have time to grab a coffee before I get Luke, and take him to the airport.
I grab my keys, and unlock the door into the house.

"Hello?" Luke yells out, though it sounds muffled because he is brushing his teeth.

"Just me" I call out, as I take my shoes off, and drop my purse.

"All packed and ready to go?" I ask, as I hear the bathroom tap run.

"Yeah, just have to pack my tooth brush." He says, as he walks out.

"Okay, did you eat, or do you want me to throw something together for you quick?" I call, as I hear him moving around upstairs.

"Something would be great" He calls back, so I head to the kitchen.

Toast it is, I decide, since I don't have time for anything else.
I grab a plate, and pop two pieces of bread in, grabbing the peanut butter on the way past .
I grab a travel mug, and fill it with coffee, too.

"Ready?" I call out, as I grab it all, screwing the lid on his coffee.

"Yeah." He says, as he pulls his suitcase.

"The boys meeting us there, or do they need a ride?" I ask, and he shoots a text.

"They would like a ride." He says, as we jump into the car.

"You guys ready to tour again?" I ask, as I stare at them all expectantly.

"Yeah." They all chorus.

Flight #372 for Mexico city, please board.

I sigh, and embrace each of the boys, Luke last.

"Call me when you land." I say, and he nods into my shoulder.

"Always."

"I love you, so so much." I say at last, as I see the other boys walking toward the gate.

"I love you too, forever." He says, and I nod, pulling away.

"Stay safe." I say, and he nods, laughing as he starts to walk away.

I stand there, long after they all leave my line of sight.
Something feels, off, and I realize, it's the fact that Maria isn't beside me.
Tears spring into my eyes.
I'm over tired, or at least that't the lie I try to feed myself, though I know it's not true.
I look around the airport, and decide to go get some lunch, as though reading my thoughts, my Mom texts me.

To: Darcy.

Hey Honey! You should come out here for lunch today? Bring Luke!
I hope you can.
I love you!

-Xo Mom.

To: Mom

Sure, though i'm at the airport, so I
will be a while.

-xoxo Darcy

I send my text, and shoot another.

To: Emerson.

Hey, sorry but I will have to take a rain-check on coffee.

-Darcy xx

I go quickly grab a coffee, and quickly jump into my car, quickly making a phone call.

"Hello?" He answers.

"Hey, i'm going to be late." I say simply.

"Okay, be in by 9." He says.

"Okay, bye." I say curtly and hang up.

I sigh, and start my car, driving to my Mothers.

"Darcy!" My Mother exclaims as I arrive, and she looks around.

"Where's Luke?" She asks, as she pulls me into a hug.

"He left to go back on his tour today." I say, and she nods.

"Honey" She says sympathetically,

"Darc!" Robert exclaims, as he walks in.

"Hey!" I say, as he walks in.

"Luke couldn't make it?"

"Left on tour." I say, and he just nods, muttering something.

"Want some coffee?" My mom asks, and I nod, feeling tired. As though reading my mind my mother says so.

"Well I worked until 11:30 AM, then took Luke to the airport." I say, and concern hits her face.

"You didn't have to come." She says, and I frown.

"I wanted too, Mom." I say, and she hesitantly nods.

"Unknown's pov"

"Hello?" Her voice answers angrily.

"Hey, Boss." I say.

"Oh good, hopefully you have some good news."

"Unfortunately, not, today isn't the day."

"You have until the end of the week, hurry it up." She snaps, and hangs up.

why did I commit to this, it feels so wrong.

"Daddy?" My daughter calls, and I turn to her.

That's why.

"When are we going for coffee?"

"Not today, angel. Soon." I reply, and she frowns.

"Okay, come color with me!" She yells, grabbing my hand, and I happily follow.
