1. Try to be cool. I know I mentioned this in Pet Peeves, but really, I could mention this 10 times with in this book and it still wouldn't be expressed enough. ARGGH!
2. Slut-shame us. Guys, you probably have no what I'm talking about here, but girls, have you ever tried walking out of the house to go somewhere and a parent (normally your mom) starts being like "You're wearing THAT out of the house? That's way too short/tight/low/small/fitted." Ugh!
3. Tell embarrassing stories of when you were a kid. Like, these stories are humiliating enough just knowing I did them. Must you share them with the entire family/my friends/future boyfriends?
4. Have no idea what the hell is going on when it comes to technology. My mom's actually kind of better at computers than I am, and she tends to be pretty up to date on what's up, but my dad can't figure out how to work a smartphone camera. I don't know whether to be mortified or just plain laugh. (Sorry -- love you Dad!)
Disclaimer: Other than that, adults are pretty okay, so don't go getting the wrong idea I'm one of those rebel kids who hate their parents or that I always am in trouble with authority. They can just get on my nerves sometimes!
