Trespassing in Neverland

Chapter 6

I gasped as I heard the arrow hit the apple above my head. "Lost boys leave." Peter said and walked over to me. He pulled the arrow out of the tree and made the apple disappear.

"So little Megan did you enjoy the first part of our game?" Peter asked and I just stared at him. "What? Cat got your tongue?" He said and grabbed my bottom lip with his index finger and thumb. "You should really speak when your spoken to there love." He said and held the arrow with the squid ink in his other hand. He let go of my lip and moved his hand to my hair pulling up slightly.

"Peter stop that hurts." I said.

"No-" he said and pulled up a little more causing a whine to escape my lips. "-now tell me, who is Daniel?" He asked making my blood run cold.

"I-I- I do not know what you are talking about."

"Now come on sweet little Megan you can tell me." Peter said and looked me in the eyes.

"I- uh- he is-"

"Yes?" Peter said. I opened my mouth to speak when I heard footsteps coming towards us.

"Pan!" A lost boy shouted.

Peter stepped away from me and I let out a breath I did not know I was holding. "What?" Peter snapped at him.

"Oh uh Felix told me to tell you he saw the shadow."

Peter smirked. "Alright. Alan take Megan back to camp and have Felix watch her." Peter dropped the arrow and walked to the middle of the clearing. "I will see you at camp Megan. Try to stay out of trouble." He snapped his fingers and the ropes holding my hands fell and he flew off.

"Come on. Let's go." The boy Alan said. I turned to look at him. He looked around my age, he had brown hair, about my height and brown eyes that were watching my every move like something terrible would happen if he let me out of his sight. He turned and walked down the path he came from and I followed.

"So...how long have you been here?" I asked him.

"Oh I do not know. It is very hard to keep track of time here."

"Oh. Well do you remember how you got here?"

"A little. I was in my town and I heard a flute playing so I followed and it lead me to Pan. There was a fire and boys dancing. The last thing I remember is Pan telling us we were going to Neverland. Next thing I know I woke up here on the beach."

"Oh."

"Yeah." He said. We were walking for about five minutes in silence when he finally talked again.

"Did you have a family?" He asked.

"Well not really. The only one back home that really cared about me was Henry."

"And this Henry, was he close to you?" He asked and looked at me.

"Well yeah he is like my best friend. Hey why did Peter bring me here?" I asked and he stayed quiet.

"Let's just say he wants something and Pan always gets what he wants."

"Well what does he want?" I asked walking into camp.

"You." He said and walked away to join the group of boys shooting arrows.

Peter's P. O. V.

I snapped my fingers and made the ropes holding Megan fall and I flew off to meet my shadow. When I got to Skull Rock I saw the shadow flying around the room. I landed on a rock and approached it.

"Pan." It said.

"Shadow. What do you want?" I spat at it.

"I came here to warn you. Remember what Rumpelstiltskin said last time you spoke."

"How could I forget?"

"RUMPELSTILTSKIN!" I yelled. "I KNOW YOUR HERE I CAN FEEL IT!" I closed my eyes and scanned the island. The dark forest. I thought and smiled. In an instant I was landing at a clearing in the heart of the dark forest where not even the lost boys would go. Then I heard him laugh.

"What is it deary?" He asked teleporting in front of me.

"Why are you here on MY island without MY consent?"

"Oh just visiting my dear old papa."

"I. Am. Not. Your. Papa." I said through gritted teeth.

"Anyways I heard a certain prophecy that just so happens to have you in it and thought you might want to know it includes your undoing." He said and laughed.

"Well tell me and get off my goddamn island."

"Now you know better thank anyone, magic always comes with a price."

"I know I know I will take the price just tell me my damn prophecy already."

"This is what you need to know."

"Pan it is already coming true. You need to act now before it is too late."

I pinched the bridge of my nose in thought. "I know I know. I will think of something." I said and started to fly away.

"I warned you Pan." The shadow called out just before I left. I watched as it flew away.

Now time to have some fun.
